My family and I have visited 2941 Mediterranean Street Food multiple times and the most recent visits have been unpleasant due to the poor customer service. Our first visit was extremly confusing and overwhelming considering the multitude of options and lack of direction from the staff. Employees were NOT helpful nor did they educate us on how many choices we had per station. Moreover, questions were answered insufficiently. Luckily we were able to speak with a man in charge who was touring the seating area, questioning customers about their visit. ONLY because of the good tasting food did we continue to eat lunch there. The visits following the first were easier considering our familiarity with the arrangement. However, at our third visit, while we maneuvered through the line, it felt like the employees were lost and could barely explain the components of the different dressings. At one point an employee had no idea what the purple turnips were until we pointed to them over the glass- shows the lack of training and poor management. At the same visit, the cashier handed me back my change with an extra 50 cents. Also, the knife jar was empty and it took nearly 10 minutes for an employee to fill it after requesting more. The areas surrounding the toppings have been messy and are filled with excess material that failed to land in the compartments. The quality of the meat has been worse compared to our early visits. Overall, it seems that each time our stay becoming worse because of the substandard service. It is unfortunate that a downtown cuinsine like this one will be losing customers like me; due to persistant bad experiences. I really hope these circumstances can be addressed and improved. I would love to return to 2941 Street Food in the near future and enjoy my visit.

Delicious! I always order the mini bowl with the Tandoori chicken and the aromatic basmati rice. For my sauce I always get the Garlic and Tandoori sauce because they mix well with the chicken. When I pick my Torshi (pickled vegetables) I always get Atum, turnips and beets and Atem, button mushrooms which are the star of the bowl (In my humble opinion). I choose the Modern Peasant for my salad along with the tangy dressing they recommend along with hot fresh Samoon bread straight out the oven, this bowl cant be beat!! My new favorite place. F. Y. I. If your chicken or any of the meats are dry... ask the server to give some meat from the bottom of the pot

Ive gotten this for lunch everyday since they opened in Birmingham! Theres so much to choose from. You are able to select from a variety of salads, meats, sides, and sauces to combine in your "honest bowl." So far Ive loved every combination, and I have yet to try more. If youre looking for a healthy meal at a reasonable price, this is definitely a go-to spot!

Well... This is the 2941th time Ive been here. I feel like everything is going slowly downhill.. Bham location today was not pleasant .. no rice available ... The manager was touching his hair with the rubber gloves. Really dry dry dry pork and steak. Poor service today. Feta got downgraded ... Used to love this place.

Really great fare. Interesting, tasty and delicious food. Great service. We need more places like this. The store manager was really great and patient with us. There were so many tasty options that we just couldnt make up our minds.

Great price for the fact that for the "Honest Bowl" you get two scoops of meat, a piece of pita bread larger than the size of your hand, salad, rice, and two veggie toppings for 11.50. Worth every penny.

The bread is amazing. You can get extra bread for only $1 more. Great food, fresh ingredients and bang for buck. Honest bowl was huge totally worth $12 with bread included.
