So sorry to learn of the demise of Brigham’s Ice Cream. I only found out today when I went on-line to send a review. Here in Connecticut we can still buy Brigham’s Ice Cream in the larger supermarkets (Stop&Shop). I read that Hood has taken over Brigham’s. Well, Hoods must have also taken their formula for ice cream, particularly the Vanilla Ice Cream. I will be 70 years old in June of 2016 and Brigham’s Vanilla Ice Cream (plain one, not the Vanilla Bean) is the BEST VANILLA ICE CREAM EVER MADE!!!! PLEASE!!!!! Don’t ever change the recipe!!!!!!! Super cool vintage feel from the decor to the owner single-handedly running ice cream counter and the dining area. Really good food and ice cream too. With Quincy changing to rapidly I hope this place hangs around for a long time!

Awesome old school ice cream/sods parlour feel. The gentleman behind the counter is very friendly, and speedy with ice cream prep. Fun little hole in the wall, to sit down for a few minutes and eat some ice cream.

Excellent ice cream sundae and soft serve. Little pricy, but still an excellent place to go. Faster and friendly, which is more than I can say about friendlys down the street.

ordered clam chowder: expensive, and mostly chowder, almost no clams: what a rip off. Ice cream for almost 5 bucks was good tasting, but so little bit. Prefer DQ any day
