Ein alteingesessenes Stück Gastronomie findet man in Winthrop an der Shirley Street. Auch wenn es von außen auf den ersten Blick nicht besonders einladend aussieht und sich dieser Eindruck auch im oft gut besuchten Inneren nicht unbedingt ändert, erkennt man recht schnell den Grund, der die zahlreichen Gäste hierherführt: Große Auswahl, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, guter familiärer Service und schmackhaftes Essen. Ausprobieren!

We came to town for our one year wedding anniversary staying a few blocks away at the Crystal Cove Inn. We decided to walk through the quiet coastal town to find a place to eat breakfast our first morning in town and found HiTide. Boy were we pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, quick service and amazing food. Allow yourself some time to wait for a table though. We ended up there every morning for our entire stay and not once did we see an empty table!

Not a bad little breakfast place, Its stayed open for I dont know how many decades. However I think its time to upgrade it and expand to bring in a more of a customer base. They should look at actual old school dinner designs like the Silver Diner on Rockville pike in Rockville Maryland , and the amount of money they bring in.

I like this place because the food is extremely good, cheap and fast. Even when its packed. The wait staff will tell yeah the specials for the day and can tell yeah where the stripers are running also. I always get the 2 large blueberry pancakes and wheat toast and its 5 buck. I never have a problem finding parking either.

The food was really good but, I waited 50 until my order arrived. Someone should have made a phone call to me on the wait time. I would have been less aggravated. Instead I called them and the lady that answered the phone was rude and put me off on someone else. Customer service is key in running any business.

The food is made well, and prices are on the low end. The eggs Benedict and the corned beef hash are both great, and recommended. Good coffee. The wait staff doesnt seem to have a good system, so sometimes you can get lost in the shuffle. Great place for a quick bite on the weekend.

Best breakfast place around. Friendly family feel! Inexpensive yet delicious breakfast and lunch items. Great value. Steve the cook is great to talk with about sports, history, current events, pretty much anything, if you sit the counter.

The service was very fast and friendly. Its in a great location within walking distance of the Inn at Crystal Cove, and within walking distance of wonderful views of the harbor. The coffee is good, but the food is not the best.
