My wife, daughter and I recently moved to the MetroWest area. We really dont know many people at all. Was Weston the right choice? Sounds weird but, then we came upon Dumpling Daughter. Nadia, Nicole and the entire Dumpling Daughter family have been so kind and welcoming to us. Its like going to see our friends and having a fantastic home cooked authentic Taiwanese/Chinese meal everytime we go. On the dreariest day, nothing brings more of smile to my face than taking that first bite into their incredible, hot and juicy soup dumplings. My smile only grows wider when I see the mirrored look of content on my wifes face as she slurps away at her bowl of Taiwanese spicy beef noodle soup and my 19 month old "caveman grips" her baby spoon full of chopped up pork and cabbage seared dumplings. No talking, no crying...just warm gastronomical bliss. Im so grateful that Dumpling Daughter is in town. Wonderful food + Wonderful people = Wonderful Restaurant. Go and try Dumping Daughter. Its wonderful.

We had a wonderful evening on New Years Eve at Dumpling Daughters! Every bite was delicious! We were a party of 6 adults and 6 teens and everyone enjoyed their food. Because you order at the main counter, Nicole the Manager this evening told me how to set up a tab and then people could order when they wanted. Nicole was very helpful in lending me a corkscrew to open our wine and giving me ice for our Sangria. We ordered the full array of dishes from chicken wings, soups, dumplings, noodle bowls and rice bowls to wraps and Bao bao rolls, and no-one had a bad thing to say about anything they ate. Totally delicious and great to be in a restaurant that had a fast food feel but had comfy seats and tables with real china and cutlery that we could enjoy, yet our teens could be themselves without us worrying they were spoiling anyone elses evening.

Beautifully executed dishes. Everything had nuanced, multilayered tastes. Light and delicate. The Taiwanese buns with soft shelled crab were simply over the top. Perfection in every bite. Delighted to see a Babson alumna cultivating a marvelous business that understands the aesthetics of wonderful home dishes, prepared with care and thought and enveloping all of it in a quality, unpretentious environment. A wonderful Sunday evening discovery. Im coming back and bringing more friends to share this place. Congratulations, Dumpling Daughter.

Im really surprised this place was rated so high. I found it to be the equivalent of mall food. We ordered an assortment of ramen, buns, and dumplings to try as much as we could. It isnt that it was horrible, it was just mediocre. The ramen really lacked flavor, and the noodles in it lacked taste and "bite". They were like over cooked spaghetti. There are many better options. We love to try new restaurants. Sometimes that works out well, and other times its a place like this.

After seeing this restaurant featured on Phantom Gourmet, I decided to try it out. I found a super friendly atmosphere and homey decor. Order at the counter then the wait staff well bring your food to your table. I tried the organic chicken ramen; It was bigger than I expected. The chicken and cabbage pan-seared dumplings were incredibly good. Owner is very friendly and welcoming.

Nice local place to hang out, but wish they had more varieties of healthy vegetarian dishes and sides. Also, their wonderful sesame balls take soooo long to make. Just make a bunch and let us buy at our convenience. We can warm them up in a microwave at home.

The food was pretty good and the restaurant has a pretty nice atmosphere, but the dumplings did seem on the pricier side for very plain looking dumplings. I would definitely recommend the pan-fried dumplings over the steamed ones.

A nice spot if youre in Weston and cant come into Boston. They only offer counter service (order and pay at the counter, take a number, they bring the food out to you). It was pretty busy on a Saturday at 4pm.

I love coming here and getting soup, some fried stuff and steam dumplings. I often have to go back and order more because the portions are small (albeit fairly priced).

Warm, friendly restaurant. This is my second time here and the food is worth the 45 min drive. I recommend Grandmaso Beijing Meat Sauce. It is so addictive!
