Just ordered takeout & after getting home realized all of my food was completely burnt. Almost everything I got was fried so it was nearly impossible to get through... I brought it back because it just wasnt eatable & such a waste of my money. When I brought the food the woman acted annoyed & angry even though she clearly saw it was all burnt. She didnt offer to recook anything & just tried to give me back the money all while acting like I was being ridiculous. I insisted on paying for the egg roll that I ate (which was also completely burnt but I just peeled off the outside because I was so hungry.) She still acted as though I was just trying to get food for free, which was clearly not the case. I work in the restaurant industry (& have for the last 4 years while attending UD) & I would never ever treat a customer like that. I will never return.

Joy Garden serves all of the American-style Chinese takeout dishes youd expect. Theres a delicious wok-infused flavor in many of the dishes here that elevate it beyond your basic Chinese takeout: the General Tsos/Sesame Chicken has hints of caramelization and the fried rice has the slightest hint of smokiness. Prices are reasonable, in line with most of the other Chinese takeout places in the area. Expect to spend roughly $20 for two dinner size (quart) orders. The cooking range and kitchen are visible from the counter if you, like me, enjoy the spectacle of a wok in action. My favorite: Twice-Cooked Pork.

Typical Chinese food place. Food is usually good, but do not get the boneless spare ribs- every time I have ordered them they are fatty, and 75% are not even edible. The lady at the counter also does not like to give enough hot mustard, soy sauce, etc. we like a lot of sauces on our Chinese food and when you ask for more she explains that there are already some in the bag, which I understand but I still want more sauces. She is very reluctant to give extras.

Awful, I normally get my Chinese food from the China wok in Elkton MD but having recently moving near this establishment I thought I would give it a try. I ordered general tso from the menu when I got home (about 2 miles away) the food was cold, dry and hard. Was this left over food or and order that had not been picked up. Needless to say this was my first and last time going to this restaurant.

Best Chinese food in the area served up by the hardest working people around and always with a smile. Weve been customers for many years and have never had anything less than a great dining experience. The Orange Chicken is superb.

They are always polite and the food is always made really well. Seems to be family owned, but im not sure. They do seem to know each other well. Not my favorite Chinese food place but it in my top 5.

Horrible. Didnt get what I ordered. Got food that I didnt order.The lo mein tasted burnt. Very unfriendly. A waste of money. Go anywhere but this place. HORRIBLE. I wouldnt give it one star.
