Ive tried many sushi places here in the town but honestly, this place is definitely the best place ever! Ive tried dragon, volcano, yummy and some sashimi (raw fish without rice) and they were just unbelievably awesome. The atmosphere is friendly and the facility is very clean. If I were to spend the same money on sushi, I would never spend them at other places because I know for sure that I can get better quality of food in Sakura Japanese restaurant. I would bring my friends here more often!

I got the spicy tuna crunch roll and my boyfriend got the volcano roll and dragon roll- they were amazing. Some of the best sushi Ive had and Im very picky when it comes to sushi. We each got an appetizer as well. Masi soup was addictingly good- our bill was $40 for two (we both drank water). I live near by and will be stopping there on regular basis from now on. Oddly its not very busy- but it should be!

We (my husband and I) love this restaurant. Weve been going there for years, since before we were married, and its always good. Its a family owned restaurant, and the owners (who work there everyday) remember us every time, very nice people. Yummy fish, yummy sake, and yummy mochi. By far my favorite sushi place, and honestly, restaurant, in the Southern Tier.

Friendliest, finest sushi place in the area. Have had awesome personal service everytime we have been there, and enjoyed all the rolls we have tried. Great selection and all pairs well with the required hand cooling Saporo. Watch out for the plum wine, its sweeter than figgy pudding! Cheers!

This treasure looks insignificant from the outside, but dont let this keep you out. Sakura has some of the best sushi Ive ever had- with some of the freshest ingredients. Service is great and the inside is calm and welcoming. Never as busy as it deserves to be

Great food and service. Highly recommended spot for grabbing Sushi in the area. Atmosphere is laid back, clean, and more intimate, which may be surprising given the plaza its located in.
