Need a cake?? I drive by this place everyday and never thought I could order a custom cake. I decided to pop in one day last week to inquire about ordering a cake for my sons 5th birthday. I spoke with one of the Bakers, Lynn. She was very helpful and explained that they could definitely make exactly what I was looking for. They were very well priced, not what I expected at all. I would recommend everyone to order the cakes from them. Everyone praised how good it was , and they were able to add the drawing exactly as I wanted. This is my new to go to , for cakes and cupcakes

Amazing is the word to describe them. They were incredibly helpful. My wife and I wanted to do a low-key wedding celebration after our intimate small ceremony and decided to do a cake at the event. This bakery and a special shout out to Kate, are hard-working and have great attention to detail. The cake was delicious and was beautifully decorated. Thank you all for making the day even more special. I will be recommending this place to family and friends for their special occasions and events.

Sugar Bakery has some of the best cupcakes in all of greater Boston. I would recommend my favorite, but they are all so good its impossible to chose. They have a huge variety, great prices, and a convenient location for anyone in West Roxbury or Roslindale. The only thing to be aware of is that they rotate their flavors regularly, so you might be disappointed if you are looking for a specific flavor. If you flexible and open to trying new flavors, it is well worth the trip!

Sugar is a wonderful West Roxbury bakery with amazing whoopie pies (Not too sweet and gooey), giant muffins, and tasty ham and cheese croissants. But prepared to pay for the sweet treats. A muffin will set you back a couple of bucks, a mini-cupcake 1.50, and Cakes $25. But hey, theyre hopping on Saturday morning, so they must be doing something right. Props to Eric, the owner who just happens to own the Real Deal next door.

When I found this place I was thrilled because of their strawberry shortcake cupcakes. I dont like chocolate but I love strawberrys, unfortunately they do not sell these cupcakes daily. The last three times Ive been in there my cupcakes were not. I decided to begin calling first and I still havent caught them. I wish they would choose specific days of the week and post them so we all will know when they are for sale!!!

Sugar created a wedding cake for our wedding, and was absolutely great to work with. Lynn was attentive, sincere, and really helped us execute our vision. The cake was not only beautiful, but delicious. Pricing was fair and much more reasonable than traditional wedding cake vendors. Absolutely recommended - quality, price, professionalism.

I love this place, the brambles are HEAVEN- raspberry filling (no seeds) in a tasty little package with sugar on top. The chocolate croissants are also great, I just wish they didnt run out so often. A little on the expensive side but well, well worth it for an occasional handmade treat. The girls that work here are super nice, too.

I witnessed the manager screaming at one of the employees a few years ago, mumbling the word "retard" as she walked away. Please dont support this business. I have also witnessed the manager throwing temper tantrums at his other employee previous times. No employee deserves to be treated like that.

...next door at their sister store, The Real Deal. It was a real treat! The goods at the connected bakery, Sugar, were top notch, too. The cream puffs with whipped cream, strawberries and strawberry syrup were exceptional.

Sugar is amazing. Their brambles are to die for. Great cheese cake as well. Its always nice to get pizza next door at Real Deal and leave with a dessert.

Even though they do not sell seafood I would recommend the Lobster Tails. Ricotta and whipped cream. To die for :)
