I called in for a to go order. Order was taken fine, but I was not told how long it will take to be ready. Common sense, I wated for 15 minutes before I went to pick up my order. It wasnt ready, so I sat at a table near the kitchen. I asked the server that was pointed to me, to pay her. She turned around and told me they only take cash. So I told her I wish I was told they only take cash, and she turns and tells me it is posted everywhere. First time I am placing an order with them, first time going there. So I cancelled my order. It will be nice whoever is taking the order to let people know of that. I am never going back there nor am I placing an order with them. You would think it will be a common sense for them to tell you, they only takw cash in 21st centurely where majority of people use credit cards all the time....

This is a family owned small diner style breakfast/lunch place on Rt 38 in Wilmington. The food is not your typical diner greasy stuff. Sure they serve all kinds of omlettes, pancakes, etc but the preparation is good, not too greasy and best of all it tastes great! The prices are extremely reasonable and a breakfast for one person usually costs me anywhere between $6-$8 on an average and that includes coffee! The ambiance is strictly okay and nothing to boast of. The service is excellent and food comes out of the kitchen pretty quick. It gets extremely crowded on weekend mornings, so if you are not a morning person, prepare to wait in line at the entrance. IMPORTANT: They dont accept cards, so always make sure to carry cash.

I ordered the steak and cheese omelette with hash browns and the value was awful! It came with many pieces of fat in it and almost had 50/50 meat/fat ratio. The meat tasted old and I actually felt sick when leaving the restaurant and I rarely get sick from food. The crazy thing, is that i had put all the fat to the side and was never asked if i liked the meal or not. Just really disappointed.

Nice little stereotypical breakfast diner. Ive been twice and gotten the eggs Benedict and Irish Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is great, my eggs were perfect both times and their cornedbeef hash is great. The staff is always quick and friendly. My only complaints are Im not a fan of their style of home fries, and it is cash only. Overall its a nice place and I will be back.

This is one of the greatest little breakfast/lunch places I know. Ive been coming here since it was Queens restaurant in the seventies. Under new ownership now, but the place hasnt changed much decor wise. Its an old style breakfast joint hidden from time. The food is decent and it will get you on your way.

I have had several good experiences and have found the food to be delicious. I have only had their breakfast food, but have sampled several items from that menu over the past 4 months. Also, the staff is great. The whole place has a "home town" feel. And, very important... the coffee is great!

This place is the place to go for breakfast. Diner style, the food is great, and cheap!! Standard diner fare available. Opens at 6am ! I love their breakfast sandwiches because it comes with home fries, yum! They only take cash, so remember to have that on you.

There were five of us and almost everyone had at least one item that was way overcooked. We also thought it was expensive for your standard small breakfast diner. Staff was nice and prompt. Not a terrible experience but wont go back.
