If I could give negative stars for this place I would. It used to be a great Panera several years ago with great service. But in the past year or so things have changed. This morning was the final straw. I went in at about 9:00 a.m. to order a yogurt and strawberry parfait which always used to be already made and chilled on ice by the cash register. No more. Someone had to go in the back and make it. I also ordered iced coffee. While they were making the parfait I went to get it only to discover the ice machine was broken. An employee walked by and confirmed that indeed there was no ice. She didnt seemed especially concerned. I informed the guy at the cash register that there was no ice and then he went to find the manager. Wouldnt you think the manager would already be aware of the situation? ? Eventually someone gave me some ice from behind the counter; however the coffee was so bad that I wish I hadnt bothered. (There was of course no cream or milk placed out so I had to request that, too.) Finding a CLEAN place to sit was another challenge. Two booths were littered with plates and old food and the floor was dirty with bits of paper and other trash. Meanwhile the jovial employees behind the counter played basketball with napkin wads and exchanged jokes. Did I mention there was almost no one in the place? The overall impression was of sloth and general untidiness, whereas a few years ago it was bustling, industrious, efficient and super clean. I am sorry but this experience has colored my perception of the entire chain. My advice: just save your time and money and go to the McDonalds next door.

I usually LOVE Panera. The bacon turkey bravo one of my favorite sandwhich and every Panera Ive ever gone to I had amazing service and the food was delicious, except for this one. I dont know if its because they havent been open long and not trained the staff well but they have literally ruined this chain for me. I went in on three seperate occasions ordering my standard Sandwhich and each time they somehow managed to completely screw it up. Once it have a bunch of veggies that arent on the sandwich and had no sause, the second time it was so loaded with black pepper that I couldnt eat it (who peppers a sandwich like that) and the third time again no sause and the crispy sweet crust of the bread was so burnt and carbon tasting that I had to just chuck the whole thing. Honestly if I want to waste my money Ill just throw it directly into the trash and save myself the walk to the store. And the one time I called to speak to a manager about the service I was put on hold for a full twenty minutes before I hung up. WORST SERVICE EVER.

Service person was as personable as an angry porcupine. Jumped the gun on my order by deciding my bagel flavor - downhill from there. Uncut (unsliced, not "Jewish") Untoasted In a bag for take away (Im eating here). Cut, toast & butter, please. Then "Lucky" (ambiguous) bags it for take away...HINT "toasted", that means hot, that implies here...or ask. Rather deal with kiosk keypad but theyre designed for sevants who memorized their Panera card...need to be reprogrammed for interactivity. No lemonade. No iced tea. Panera needs UNDERCOVER BOSS visit here.

This is the worst panera Ive been to. Every time I get food theres something wrong with it. I got a sandwhich and waited for my name to be called as I saw everyone else get called I asked about my sandwhich and it was sitting on the counter the whole time, come to find out they didnt call my name because the Indian lady that took my order spelled my name aaha so they didnt know how to pronounce my name and I ended up being late for work. Got food again today and they didnt make the sandwhich right or my coffee right! Grrr

I place my order online in order to save time since Im usually rushing to my next appointment. At first it was great since the 10 minutes to make the meal is the same for how long it would take me to walk here. However, more and more my orders are not ready on time going over 10-20 minutes. I can understand during peek hours, but I eat lunch at off times and whenever Im here waiting, the place is dead.

This Panera is the worst one in the USA. The employees screw up the simplest orders and the turn over of workers is ridiculous. Everytime I walk in someone new is being trained. How can you mess up a salad? This store has caused me more wasted time and aggrevation than any business I have ever dealt with. The Burlington store on Route 62 is 100 times better than this Waltham screw-up store.

Worst Panera outlet ever. If you are dying and cant find a burger to eat at next door McDonalds....then and only then go here. Poor staff, poor service and sad experience overall. Avoid if you can.
