I had the clam chowder, that was one of the best clam chowders Ive had. If they dont make it fresh there than they have a really great supplier. I also got the Yankee pot roast which was not the best, but I really couldnt stop eating it either. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and efficient, which is very hard to find. The person that I went with was kind of hesitant to eat at Bentleys, because she had a horrible experience months before. She said they actually waited for an hour to find out that the waitress forgot to put the order in and they just left. But she even decided to give it another try and wasnt disappointed. I will go again just for the clam chowder alone.

Came in(using a cane) to get a take-out order. I was the only person at the front desk and was told I had to go to the bar to place my order. The bar was busy and no place to sit while waiting - I told the waitress/bartender I would be waiting near the front desk and saw an empty chair which I used. The waitresses gather around the front desk talking to each other - I see no reason why they cant place orders for customers instead of having them walk into a dark room when it is clear they need assistance (cane) walking. NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY!!! Also, many waiters and waitresses walking back and forth and dont acknowledge the person waiting with a smile or a hello .

Not bad, not great. This place is the classic "missed it by this much" establishment. Neat atmosphere but the booths need to be redone. Get rid of all the lacquered wood and keep the interesting post/beam construction. My wife had a Caesar Salad which was overdressed. I had beef enchiladas. The hamburger inside was unseasoned. They didnt seem to be baked, just put together and thrown in the oven to melt the cheese. Weirdest of all, it was paired with rice pilaf. Enchiladas and pilaf is not a marriage made in heaven. The food was fine, the place was fine. The service was very good. A fine place to get a bite but nothing special.

Always a nice atmosphere and the food is great. The service could be better. The waitress never once looked at or made eye contact with me. Every time she came to the table, She would look or speak to my mother. Im assuming she does this to whoever she believes is the person who will be paying, and tipping, her. Made us both feel uncomfortable! And she kept saying "you guys" we are both women.. no guys at the table. Maybe thats just a pet peeve of mine that servers do. But the really delicious food is what keeps the rating, not the server!hopefully other servers are better!

Food was absolutely horrible.. Lobster Pot Pie was overcooked.. actual crunchy Lobster meat and dry ...steak was overcooked asked for rare got medium-rare ..green beans werent even cooked basically Raw ..we got a smiling waitress who just nodded and smiled whos then informed us that she would take something off of our check because of a horrible experience and yet she takes off a 99 cent side of mashed potatoes definitely do not recommend this restaurant and as a professional chef I can be more critical than most but this place was absolutely ridiculous never again

Brenda I just had one of the worst meals at a restaurant in a long time. I ordered baked haddock with green beans and baked potato. The potato was cold and hard in the middle....the haddock was cold. I sent the meal back,and received back 15 minutes later. I received the same fish, and it appeared to be microwaved to warm up. It was so dry I couldnt eat the fish. I asked for a credit on my bill since the meal was inedible, and they took only $3.00 off the bill. I would not recommend this restaurant. Very disappointing experience,

basically i had a wonderful experience at Bentley Pub. waiters are nice. and service is for the most part fast. unless u have a really large order then it takes i little bit to get to you but thats normal and understandable. :) when you walk in there is usually not a very long wait for a table. every time i go i walk right in and get seated. and when u get seated you get crackers and popcorn to munch on while waiting to order your meals. :) i would go there again anytime. or even work there

THANK YOU BENTLEYS FOR A WONDERFUL MEAL WE ORDERED YESTERDAY FOR TAKE OUT. THE LOBSTER PIE WAS OUTSTANDING, ALONG WITH CHICKEN POT PIE, BAKED STUFFED CLAMS, ONION STRINGS, POTATO SKINS WITH OUT ONIONS AND GARDEN GRILLED CHICKEN SALAD. IT WAS ALL AMAZING!!! ALSO, THE GIRL I TALKED TO ON THE PHONE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS!!!!!!! WE WILL BE ORDERING AGAIN!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN SOOO MUCH!!!! SINCERELY, JOHN AND CATHY

Saw their menu posted online and went in with my daughter because she saw the scallops on the menu. When we got there it turns out the menu we saw online was different and they didnt offer the scallops anymore. She got the steak tips instead and I got the Pot Roast. My dinner was PHENOMINAL and reasonably priced. My daughter was happy with her meal too. Good service and reasonable prices.

Decided to try a new restaurant ...service was quick and waitress was nice. My husband got the chicken parm sandwich and when it came out is was huge and looked great. Center of the chicken... Completely uncooked. Re cooked... Still somewhat uncooked. Chicken is not something that is appealing pink. We will not return, but if you do, just stay away from the chicken parm sandwich...

Do not ever get the Chicken Parm here. Two BJs frozen chicken patties with a deli slice of Mozzarella on each patty. Chicken was not even hot through. Cold center. The breading on the frozen patties even slid off the under neath because the pasta and sauce were at least plate ready. It is something you feed your 6 year old kid at home. Bar service was good though.

The worst experience I have had in a long time. The service was bad. Got my app when they served dinner. Never received my second beer after ibwaited 25 min for the first. Then explained to manager what happened she basically didnt care . She said I will let them know after her excuses. I paid my bill and will never be back. Find a new place

Not worth your time if your visiting the area. They have no system for how they seat customers so locals get put ahead of everyone else. Considering this place is across from Old Sturbridge Village you would think they would welcome they tourist traffic. The Hostess had no clue how to manage a dinner rush and got rude when asked questions.

Chilli was good, burger was adequate, nacho with cheese was limp and tasteless, and not what we ordered. Informed that kitchen was "really backed up" and replacement would take a while. Several items had to be requested several times before they arrived (like salad dressing LOL, nothing esoteric) disappointing, and not like prior visits.
