Pizza tastes like someone ate too many tomatoes one day, then shat it out right on the pizza the next day. Also tastes like sweaty hands along with bad cheese and has the aroma of an armpit. Service is horrible and rude. All the waitresses cop an attitude that makes you wanna fight them. And when they bring your pizza out to you, they basically slam it in front of you and might as well say, "Hea is ya fahkin pizza, ya a--hole." The atmosphere is good if you like being cramped into a small room filled with a bunch of townies and angry waitresses all while being forced to smell a funk that is only replicated by armpits and litter boxes. And if you like being screwed financially, this is the place to go! Pizza used to be $4 for a cheese, now its $8. $4 made sense for a small dinky little pizza that tastes like crap. But $8?! Ridiculous. And if you are going to add toppings, be ready to pay $10+ and get a small piece of sausage or pepperoni on each baby piece of pizza. If youre looking for a place that literally pushes you out of the door after youre done eating all with a bad attitude, or somewhere that cant even cook a pizza right for such high prices, then this is your place! Enjoy!

Well my experience has been pretty good, tonight on the other hand was not a good one. Ordered three pizzas two were fine the third one was almost raw under cooked and way to much pizza sauce..the pizza fell apart for the person i bought it for and expressed how great the pizza was. She ended up throwing it away because like I said was under cooked so half fell over on the floor. Called Linwood up just to express to them what had happened and was put on hold for a long time and then when they got back to me they said we would have to bring back the other pizza and they would exchange...even though I said it was thrown away...and my drive wasnt close...I told them I didnt want a new pizza I just wanted to tell them what had happened but, like I thought they didnt care....so wont be going back ever again!!!

This is a staple to the community! Serving some of the best bar style Pizza & Beer with full bar and ample seating in a small place. Theres a back door for pickups. Its always busy so make sure to call ahead and ask about wait times. The pizza had a brief period where the quality dropped but its now back to normal, better than ever. This half a century old family owned and operated establishment will leave you happy to have found it and crave it on occasion. Just dont be thrown off by the $10 small pizzas, they are delicious. Its worth the money...

This really is the best pizza youll ever have. I dont care if you prefer Chicago deep dish, New York hand-tossed, fancy California wood-fired, thin St. Louis style round pies cut into stupid squares, or whatever. The Lynwood s simple, thin crust "bar pies" just have the right ratio of cheese/crust/sauce, and their hand-mixed combination of cheeses and their basic marinara pizza sauce provide a tang and sweetness that is unmatched. However, they only accept cash, and they charge full-price for soda refills.

Absolutely the best bar pizza anywhere!! I went there a lot a few years ago...then moved further away so havent been there in awhile. Happened to be over near Randolph and decided to stop in, it was like stepping back in time!! I believe that was the same waitress?! Lol The pizza was even better than I remembered!! My old stand by onion and hamburger...so good blew me away!! Definitely need to make more trips over that way again!!

Pizza is amazing, drinks are super cheap, staff are friendly. No ability to do 1/2 star here, only knocks against it are its cash only (atm inside) and they dont do tabs at the bar meaning you have to pay for drinks Everytime you order one rather than at the end. Not a big deal when drinks are so cheap . Overall great place to go for amazing bar pie (pizza) and cheap drinks, dont expect anything semi fancy or fancy at all.

I have only had pizza and soda at the Lynnwood, but both have been top-notch, they provide great service, and the staff are always friendly. Also, they always cook the pizza to the degree that I request. I have had opportunity to observe the customers, as l live down the street and get pizza there pretty regularly, they have a loyal following of multigenerational families that seem to be very happy to be there.

Omg! I just left there and the pizza was NASTY! I would never go there again I rather eat frozen pizza from stop n shop then go there and the old lady that work there is a BEAST she was also stingy with the plates and straws. Then in the smallest letters it said cash only. This is the only tip I will give them CLOSE DOWN or cook better pizza and get rid of the old BEAST!

This is the best dive pizza joint ever. All cash. $1.80 Coors light draft. Usually a 30-60 wait for the pizzas if you call ahead, but so worth it. I like to order a linguica with onions, laced (sauce put beneath the dough as well) and extra crispy. So good. Theres a reason people will wait an hour for this pizza. Theres nothing quite like it.

One of the places I have missed the most since moving out of state. No bar pizza in the South. I love all kinds of pizza but you love what you grew up with and Lynwoods is awesome. Im a plain cheese guy but my kids son loves the pepperoni and my vegan daughter loved the baked bean pizza sans cheese.

Best pizza on the planet. I like the cheese, and the salami pizza. Order ahead of time and pick up for the fastest option. This place gets busy at night. Order between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Also, you can get uncooked pizza from here too. Cook it another time or ship it to a friend. Enjoy!

Yes the pizza (personal size only) is excellent, but the prices keep going up even though the crowded and dated dark-paneled cafe decor and layout has been the same since the 1980s. You must decide if it is now worth the increase $7.90 for a plain personal pizza ($8.40 for roni) ?

If Im home (Braintree, MA) I get Lynwoods (yeah, with an S). The pizza is incredible. Part of the reason its so good is because Ive been going there all my life. This is definitely a local haunt and I feel that out-of-towners just dont get it, but who cares about them right?!

Simply the best "bar pizza " on the south shore. No place comes close to the flavor and its always consistent. Beers are cheap, servers are usually Ok. Can be busy and expect wait times for pick up. Pizza prices are high, but everyone keeps coming for them!

Great place to come with family and friends. Came in with my wife and daughter on our way to bring my daughter back to college. Turns out the girl waiting on us goespecially to the same college as my daughter. Made for an even better than normal Lynwood experience.

Its not nasty, and its not great. I will put up $100 of my own money to anyone that can tell this pizza from any other bar room pizza in a blind taste test. Im not saying thats a bad thing, but if youve ever had a pub style pizza, youve had Lynwood.
