Really looked forward to bringing my parents visiting from Wisconsin to this place. We were sat in a back corner after waiting a few minutes. The waitress brought us coffee, tea and water, then she literally forgot about us. She continued to serve the group of 10+ sitting 20 feet away from us, but she never came back to fill our empty coffee cups or water glasses. Finally had to go ask another waitress if we could have some coffee and water. The manager walks over and asks, "Who am I going to yell at?" Funny thing... she didnt even have a coffee pot in her hands. After exchanging niceties, we waited another few minutes until the waitress came out of with coffee. Big coincidence that our food came out right after that... It had definitely been sitting under the warmers for at least 5 minutes. The homefries were cold! Oh, to add the proverbial salt to the wound, the hollandaise sauce was just a runny yellow mess (no flavor), my dad described the french toast as "interesting" and my moms eggs were definitely over-very-hard instead of medium. Breakfast for 3 = $44... too expensive for my blood. Wouldnt come back here if I was given free meals.

Easily my favorite breakfast restaurant on the South Shore. The food is spectacular, always providing new and creative specials and dishes that you would never be able to find at your traditional breakfast restaurant. It is a rather quirky concept with the artistic decor making it a quite unique dining experience. From their wooden bar to the walls covered floor to ceiling with decorations and knick knacks, you will never get tired of looking around. I notice new details every time Im there. Although their prices are somewhat higher than your typical run of the mill breakfast joint, they are very reasonable for what you get and well worth it in value received.

Quaint little restaurant thats way to get to off of Highway 3. My wife and I stopped on our way into Boston for a quick bite before our flight. Friendly and quick service and a pretty good menu. The clam chowder was creamy and thick, and the half turkey sandwich was good. My wife got an omelette with a side of fruit and it was a good size meal. If you love strawberries, the decor is not to be missed.

The best food anywhere! Sweet and homey atmosphere! Its a great place to visit on your way to whats next!! I just went there again today for breakfast, had the new england breakfast...eggs, bacon, home fries, baked beans and corn bread! The best my friend had poached eggs and bacon which she said was delicious! I also had a fruit cup! A great meal!

This is a pretty cute place with a decent breakfast menu. The service is consistently bad however and it is very expensive. Between the weekend wait to get in and the slow, slow service once seated you should literally expect to be here for at least an hour and a half. There are better places within a couple miles of here to go out for breakfast.

The food is wonderful and the service is excellent. However, the building needs to be renovated. We went the day after Christmas and the entire place was FREEZING. I wouldnt go back until the weather was nicer, thats for sure. It really provides a more negative experience than a positive.

Most notable for the amazing home atmosphere, Strawberry Fair has excellent food, service, as well as a cute strawberry-themed gift shop. There is also outdoor seating in the back which is perfect for a beautiful day. Love this place- a South Shore classic.

My sister and I have breakfast here every Friday. The old house is charming, the menu extensive and the staff attentive. A little secret: try the steak and eggs. Best tasting and tenderest steak anywhere.

Highly recommend the corn bread french toast. Great atmosphere, homey and warm. Have been there most often for breakfast/brunch, but their dinners are very good too. Traditional comfort food.

One of my favorite South Shore breakfast spots! The strawberry iced tea and jam are delicious. Very small parking lot and sometimes theres a wait during busy times, but its well worth it.

The blueberry cornbread French toast is awesome! Get it as a side item added to your breakfast and youll get one slice hearty enough to share with others at your table.

This tiny restaurant came highly recommended - it was so busy that day and our lunch hour was too short for the 20 minute wait!! Really cute - but a bit crowded.
