This is a little treasure of a place for coffee aficionados. The beans are Counter Culture and various other roasters from all over America. The espresso is perfect every time. The food selection is small, but the scones are particularly delicious. The options, Hario pour over, Aeropress, and one more that escapes me, provide limitless ways to enjoy a richly nuanced cup o joe.

Not only was our pour-over Counterculture Coffee ---the Fast Forward--- nicely light-bodied and multi-dimensional, but this new cafe has the best scones in Boston (cream scones of several flavors, from Nashoba Brook, West Concord, MA). And its apple coffee cake --- also from Nashoba---is homey and delicious. The service is very friendly. Only a few tables. Art exhibit too.

Im not a coffee drinker, so I had chai tea. Tried the Spicy Chai and Sweet Chai. Both were fantastic! As we were having our tea, Eric brought over his experiments with a Ginger Espresso for us to to taste and give feedback. He really cares about the drinks here. You will taste that when you go, which you should do.

The Barrista was very knowledgeable. I thought my coffee bean was a bit sweeter than I like, by that just means I need to go back more often to try more styles. Day old chocolate chip cookie for half price was so good.
