Super place for breakfast!! Located just on South Main street across from the south Common, this quaint little cafe is probably best known for its breakfast menu! Cafe is clean and the waitstaff is very friendly ready to serve you that cup of coffee. Portions are generous and the food comes quickly hot and absolutely delicious. I will go here when I want pancakes, they have awesome blueberry pancakes and their chocolate chip pancakes are fantastic! Eggs galore, omelets, fried, scrambled, Benedict, served with homemade home fries, meats of bacon, or sausage, toast ....ohh my mouth is watering while I write this, I think a trip to Cafe on Commons will be on my morning schedule tomorrow!!

Waited for sever for 10 minutes before coming to table, to busy talking at counter with the staff about weekend drama. Got food in timely manner,luke warm . Waited 15 minutes to get bill after eating. Waited an additional 15 minutes to find out SHE SCREWED BILL UP AND CHARGED US FOR SOMEONE ELSES ORDER ON MY DEBIT CARD. Came back with attitude after I found out what happened and she said just sign the slip I was credited . STAY AWAY !!! Just found out because bill for our eggs over easy came to over $55. went into overdraft on my debit card and was charged overdraft on my debit account. THANKS AGAIN !!!

I had a business meeting there – wasn’t interested in breakfast, but I did have coffee. My only complaint was that they didn’t offer Wi-Fi for their customer’s convenience. I can understand not wanting folks to hang around drinking coffee, taking up table space – but if you know these people (because it is a family type atmosphere) share with them your New Wi-Fi policy.

I walked here in a snowstorm to ask if they would sell some yeast. I talked to the manager - pudgy, middle-aged Brazilian lady with glasses - and explained that I had walked over in the snow, and was hoping maybe they could sell a small amount of yeast, and she just said "no" and walked away. Maybe she was having a bad day - but who talks to customers like that??

Cafe on the Commons is a great little place to get breakfast or lunch. I love going for breakfast. Weekends are busy, but its worth the wait. Any breakfast place on weekends is busy. They have great home fries. The staff is always great. Try for lunch during the week, and youll get right in.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in the Foxfield area. For first-timers, note that you can just walk right in and seat yourself. Sometimes service can be slow, but the food totally compensates for any stomach-rumbling and impatience. A great way to spend a lazy weekend morning.

friend and I wanted a place close to Petco and found this place. I Had the Fenway park omelet light on cheese, egg whites ($1 extra) with rye toast dry and friend had 1 blueberry pancake. both had water. everything was good waitstaff was friendly and had absolutely no complaints

I I went camping at a campground near there and we all wanted someone else to make breakfast we ended up finding it on google the wait was about 20 mkns we had a party of 8 so I dont blam them but the staff was nice food was great I got no complants

Always awesome. The food is great, the staff is excellent. On weekends its often very busy, sometimes with lines out the door, but its always worth it. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. THE FOSSYLS LOVE CAFE ON THE COMMON :-)

This is a wonderful place for breakfast. The pancakes are outstanding. Best of all, the waitresses are warm. Im not from the area, but they made me feel at home. This is a place I would recommend to anyone living or visiting Mansfield.

The service here is excellent - friendly staff that is attentive and always smiling. The food is pretty acceptable - nothing to write home about. The menu is decent and the prices are fair. Would recommend for a decent breakfast!

A friend took me here for breakfast.Cute restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was very good and the wait staff was very pleasant. I would definitely go back here if in the area. I highly recommend Café On The Cove.
