If you have any reason to plan an event I would highly recommend the Gallery Cafe and their Tea Party event option. We held a lovely baby shower for 40 people at the Gallery Café last month. The shower was perfect and everyone loved the tea party theme. When we arrived to decorate for the shower, Virginia, the owner, already had classical music playing softly, setting the perfect tone. The atmosphere really makes you feel as though you’re in a private home, very elegant and welcoming. The entire restaurant is also an art gallery featuring the art of many local artists. For the shower we had two sunny private rooms at the front of the restaurant which flowed into each other and were also connected to a private bar where we could have mimosas, or any other option. We had groupings of linen covered tables set with beautiful bone china, finger sandwiches, scones, cheese and fruit, and our choice of teas. Kyle our waitress was amazing - I felt as though I had a personal assistant she was so helpful (and cheerful!) with arranging the tables and decorations just the way we wanted them. Of course we’ve been back several times for dinner and lunch in the restaurant – the food is always amazing!

My husband and I were delighted by our meal and the atmosphere at this very unique gallery/restaurant combo. Its not just for artists-- while we waited for our meal, we browsed the variety of artwork and crafts displayed throughout the gallery. The casual atmosphere misled me-- I didnt expect the cuisine to be impressive. But it was AMAZING. I dont have the food vocabulary to describe it, but the food was FABULOUS. Thank you, Gallery 529. Well be back!

Fab food!!!! You cant get better high quality food in any of the nearby "chain" type restaurants in the area! This place is so unique. Portions are sizeable, also. Sitting at the bar is nice. Full menu, there. Also take your drinks and peruse the art thats for sale, which is on display. Going back this week! CHECK IT OUT!!
