We decided to try Bar Rustic tonight and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. It was my husband, teenage son, and myself. The girl who greeted us and brought us to the table was pleasant and from there it was all down hill. The waitress came over and asked for our drink order. My husband asked about the light beer selection. She abruptly gagged out a few names of beers he was not familiar with and offered no explanation or intetest in trying to help him make a selection. She asked for my order and deliberately ignored our son. We looked at the menu and felt $21 for pizza was over priced and the rest of the menu fell flat for us. The waitress returned again with a soda for me, nothing for my husband, and again deliberately ignored our son. She was rude and obviously had no interest in taking care of us. At that point we decided to leave. There was no way we were going to pay for an over priced meal and terrible service with a miserable rude waitress. We told her we were leaving and offered to pay for the soda. She said dont bother. We got up and left. I will say the restaurant decor itself was very nice. The service - in particular this waitress - was horrendous. She did not care that we were there and cared even less as we got up to leave. I hope the management will address their wait staff and correct the service issues. Major attitude adjustment required. Terrible experience and we have no plans to go back again anytime soon. This is not a restaurant geared toward family dining. We had hoped for so much more from Bar Rustic and were completely disappointed.

Outstanding service and food quality! Came here with my wife and fell in love with the place! The prices were reasonable. I ordered their "crispy chicken" wood fired pizza. A perfect blend of flavors and spices made this pizza stand out amoungst others in the area! The wife had ordered their "house brisket burger", which came out to the perfect temperature of what she had asked for. The balance of flavor was incredible! Between our food and a couple drinks the total bill not including the tip was $41.28. I highly recomend this place for others to experience!

Had the privilege of going to the soft opening last night. Staff was pleasant, polite and courteous. Waiter was educated about the menu, and was able to answer questions regarding the selections. Food was outstanding! I had scallops carpaccio and pheasant ragu with the house Sangiovese. It was out of this world! Decor is over the top in every detail! A beautiful, rustic and comfortable space, with a story in every detail! I cant wait to go back (again and again!)!

We had the most delicious food today from Bar Rustic! We tried quite a few different food selections as well. The everything bagel seasoned fries were great ! The oysters and Funghi pizza were outstanding. The friend chicken sandwiches were the best we have ever had. The server even gave us a container of some of their homemade cucumber pickles for my daughter (who is pregnant) who had loved them on her sandwich as they were fresh and yummy

We ate dinner at the bar rustic and were very impressed. I was in a group of 5 and every one enjoyed their food. The environment in the restaurant is very nice and does not feel at all like you are in a mall. I thought the prices were reasonable considering the quality of ingredients and food. I will definitely be going back here again. I also want to try one of the cooking classes or watch the cooking show.

Went here tonight with a large group and really enjoyed the studio section of the restaurant. Cooking demonstrations and a great meal prepared by a really funny and talented chef named Liz. Food was awesome and lots of laughs. A really fun night out.

Good food and good service - if I had to change anything it would have been the music. Chumbawamba Isnt my first choic and was Kind of loud. Some smooth jazz would be amazing in there. Looking at dates for kitchen studio - looks fun.

Cacio e pepe just like in Roma. Bartenders are trained very well and can make you a cocktail based on what you like. Wine list is great! A must if in the area.

Quality of service and food was that of downtown but the prices were fair for Kingston. Amazing wood fired pizza and house made pastas. New go to spot.

Poor service, our small glasses of waters were never refilled. The menu is a bit too fancy for its location offering not much on the side of normal.
