The food was just fair. The drink selections were great. Our waitress seemed to be flustered. She brought one drink at a time to a fairly large party as well as two tiny baskets of bread that had been cut into 2 inch bite sized pieces,. We asked for more but never got it. When one member of our party ordered, she stated she was highly allergic to wheat & asked that her order not include the wheat noodles. Her very dry salmon arrived seated upon the bed of wheat noodles. Overall, it was very disappointing. We wont be back.

This is the third installment of this locale and the first time I have visited under the new name. The menu is a little limited but the choices sound scrumptious . I had steak tips and while I did have to send them back for being over cooked they were mouth watering when they did get them right. The place has a nice selection of beers and whiskey among other libations. I plan to return and try a 21y/o $24 glass.

Really good food, but when I went in there with a stroller not 1 but 2 staff people copped an attitude with me, "you know were busy so youre going to have to fold that up." Really? I cant have my stroller with me obnoxiously at the table. Duh doi, of course I am going to collapse it, what do I look like, some kind of amateur? Sheesh!

The food was okay. The fries were severed cold and the picked green beans were gross. The burgers bun was burnt and thats all you could taste. The waitress wasnt very great, didnt give us time with the menu by taking both our drink orders and dinner orders at once. The build is cool but wasnt lively.

visiting salem for a wedding and everyone headed over here for drinks. bar area was very small and there were easily 75 of us so it was a little cramped. The service though was spot on and they had a great selection of beers and ciders. Did not try any of the food, but it looked great.

Outstanding cozy Irish pub with excellent food and a selection of local craft beers. We particularly liked the fried kale and the duck wings with kimchi, and liked sitting by the fireplace on a chilly rainy night with our beers. Highly recommended.

My server was a space cadet. In addition, my pork was dry and overcooked. Worse, the beans in my dish were grossly undercooked. Drinks were good though. This place is a better bar than a restaurant. Would not go back.

Limited hours but dont let that cause you to miss this place on Essex Street. Excellent food & a quiet atmosphere make this an ideal place to stop & visit with friends after a day of shopping or sight seeing.

Everything at this place is good food wise, I didnt drink so I couldnt tell you about the drink. Highly recommend the chicken sandwich and the steak or steak tips. Small menu, but everything on it is good.

I have been going to this bar since it has opened and the food and service are incredible. The atmosphere is quiet so you can actually have a conversation with people. Try the half chicken and Guiness!!!!

Food is ok at best. Typical pub food for the most part. Good beer selection. Atmosphere is really dark at night, I almost couldnt see my food. Great location.

Cozy place to have a drink. I love that they consistently have Boddingtins and Old Speckled Hen in tap. Menu is good and even a little bit unconventional.
