This is the worst place I can ever imagine eating in. After being seated at a table, the hostess came over to state we needed to move because the waitress didnt want to wait on a 2 top. Can you believe it? A waitress who does not want tips. First of all, I cant believe the hostess would say that, but as the owner explained she is a hardworking 17 year old girl. Needless to say she may be hardworking, but she is going to cost him more business than she is worth. When we said we didnt want to move, that we liked the view, she just looked at us and when we said we were leaving she said, "so what". Not sure of the waitresses name, but if you ever go in and get sat a 4 top, look out. As for the person who wrote a review regarding the "patrons" being rude or stuffy, you need to have your head examined.

Let me start by saying that it’s a complete joke that the word HOSPITALITY is on the outdoor sign of Liberty Grill. I have been to this place three times simply because it’s the only place in Hingham center on a Saturday night that is not crowded. The first two times I went the service was so bad that it was amusing. I recently went for a third and final time and will never be going back. It’s not the food that turned me off, it’s the people. The owner is a smug guy that stares at you when you walk in and only seems concerned about getting the four drunks sitting at his tiny bar anther bud light. The waitresses are so white trash and stupid they can’t even remember your order and give you an attitude because they actually have to work when you come in. Stay away!

Served in a 16 oz beer glass hand made recipe by long time barkeep, Guy. Ask for it Chicago style with a small draft beer on the side, as he said "sounds odd but goes really well". Great colonial pub atmosphere reminded me of the Newes on the Vineyard. Fish and chips were a safe New England standard but next time I will try their pizza which the regulars raved about.

Had many meals there, some good, some OK, but my last and final one in 2016 we got the badly burned pizza you see in the photo. No refund, no apology. They did offer to cook another one, but that would have made us late for the movie at the nearby Loring Hall Cinema. So I paid and left. We left the entire uneaten burned pizza on the table. Yuk.

Walked inside just after 1pm expecting to eat and give them business. They seemed to be fairly busy so I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I waited to be acknowledged to either be seated or to know how long it would take to be seated. At about 10 minute mark my patience ran out and walked across the street to Stars and had a great meal!

I love Liberty Grille. Asked my adult kids to go there with me for my birthday because I took them there for pizza and dinner celebrations after concerts and baseball games through the years when they were young. Liberty Grill holds many wonderful memories for us as a family. Its a great spot by the water and the square..

Ive been going here every Friday for pizza for 7 months. The waitresses are friendly (and remember my drink order), the building is cozy and the food is great especially the pizza. The downstairs is louder and more of a pub than the upstairs dining room. Great place for a cute date or family meal or nighttime meet up.

This place reminded me on NINOS which is now gone. The food here is not bad its just very bland. No exciting flavors and meals are very basic. Low prices and easy to get parking.

Love the atmosphere and the food is good, but on my last visit, our waitress seemed somewhat annoyed by our presence.
