Just moved into town and walked to this place. In one of the more bizarre experiences of a lifetime of dining- I sat at a table in the bar area and was asked politely if I was eating and drinking to which I responded affirmatively. Told a server named Jessie would be over in a minute. As the minutes ticked by: for a total 30 minutes, people on all sides were being served. The waitress protested it was not her table when pressed as to what was going on. Upon my further questioning as to what on earth was going on a belligerent woman who identified herself as the manager: Kelly McDonald told me that I was not being helped at her direction (after 30 minuted of waiting?!). My offense? I sat in the bar without being seated by her. I cannot really express my stupification at her bizarre conduct. I asked for the owner (named: Ed King) to complain and wondered about the world I live in. Worst experience in over 30 years of dining.

Ive been here twice now, and all I can say is The Kobe burger is one of the best burgers(if not the best) Ive ever eaten, and Ive eaten a lot of burgers. It has everything a good burger needs to have: Thick, juicy, flavorful meat, a rich soft brioche bun, TRUFFLE mayo, and delicious toppings(I got above and beyond and throw on mushrooms, jalapenos, avocados, and bacon). I live in Boston and a venture out here is completely worth it.

Very excited, wanted to get mom some banana pancakes after bad dr. report. They had no idea. I asked about pancakes. At first the cook recommended another establishment, but it was too much to take my frail mom that far for 2 pancakes. I dont know if he was the owner, but the other man said, "come on in, she wants bananas pancakes, we will make banana pancakes." And they brought her out 2 huge pancakes. Thank you!

Very impressive beer list. Easily the best in the area. Good breakfast and lunch food. My only grip with Stars is that its nearly impossible to come from the beach and grab a quick drink because they inexplicably seat the brunch crowd on the bar side of the restaurant. That creates a situation where a great bar is constantly polluted with large groups of unruly high school students on the weekends.

Best gluten free menu I have come across in a long time! There were multiple choices of beers and appetizers, which never happens! I havent been able to eat calamari or sweet potato fries in years, it was such a treat! They use corn flour and have a dedicated fryer to accommodate this! I will definitely be going back and cant wait to try breakfast!

I have been to Stars on Hingham Harbor before. The last time I went was this past summer. I went with my friend and his wife. Both the food and service has always been great. Every time I go there with my friend and his wife. We do not have to wait long to get seated or get our food. I think that the location is perfect because it is always busy.

Stars has a very large and interesting beer selection on tap as well as a delicious blackened bison burger and buffalo chicken rangoons that you cant skip. Friendly staff good place to sit and chill and watch a game as well plus they have music on the weekends which is pretty fun.

The food here was pretty average, nothing special. Serivce was slow, many young kids working from what I saw. The wait can take forever on a weekend, for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Prices were a little high, could have been lower. The atmosphere was nice though, very friendly.

Stopped here for lunch with the family. I ordered the fish and chips and the wife got the southwest salad with blackened cod. Both were really delicious. Service was quick and really good. Place is casual and got seated really quick. Definitely check this place out.

Full menu at 10:45 p.m. on a Satutday night is always a bonus. We ordered some appetizers and sandwiches that were delicious. The Bacon cheddar Tater Tots and the fried pickles were my favorite. Excellent Staff, nice atmosphere and music as well.

Nestled right in the cove, this is an adorable little highwayside restaurant with great food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and I have always had a great time while seated at the bar. Locals are friendly and the vibe is decidedly casual.

Great spot on Hingham Harbor. Extensive brunch menu. Tasty appetizers. Really good cocktails! Hingham Sunrise is the best mimosa I have ever had. Great option for take out but fun place to enjoy casual fare after work with friends.

Had the Scallops and Fried Clam plate! Absolutely Delicious! My friend ordered the twin lobster roll and it was fantastic as well! Our waiter was very nice and attentive too! Will definitely make another stop there!

It has a great beer selection. Ok. Beyond that it has a weird family vibe where there are children everywhere. Crayons and coloring things are provided. I prefer bars that are for grown ups.

Slow service and not very kind. We left our daughters sippy cup and when we realized and went back they told us that they threw it away. Avoid of you are a family with small children

Always a staple , you know what your getting , great comfort food and better breakfast. Can be crowded at times , popularity will do that , the front desk handles the crowds well .

Stars is the best place in town for weekend breakfast! It can be crowded in the morning, but its a great way to start the day in Hingham! The bill is also a nice surprise!

Had a pickup order this morning. Egges were barely cooked. Alot of uncooked arsenic, bread were not even toasted. I had to cook my eggs at home again. Realy dissatisfied

It is a fun local spot with great food. Weekend breakfasts are phenomenal. There is always something new on the menu, guess that is why I have turned into a "regular"

Got their kobe burger. It was very good. Too many kids running around making noise. it was like a day care center in there. Good prices.

Sort of a diner, plus...bit more upscale in food, but congenial, large diner sort of place. Have always had attentive service.

One of my favorite Hingham spots. Great food, great staff, great with kids. Parking can be dicey, but its worth the hassle.

Management and staff are professionals. Special orders dont upset them. Great beer, burgers, fish and salads. Ask for Rob.
