Went there lastnight with my wife and mother because I have stopped by in the past and had the incredible sweet corn poppers and loved the bar area. I thought my wife and mother would like a change of pace and they loved their meals. Jen was out waitress and she did a great job with the drinks and food delivery. I ordered a meat lovers pizza and almost finished the crust when all I could taste in my mouth was sugar and overly sweet sauce. I had my wife try a small part of the crust and she agreed that the crust and what little sauce was on it tasted overly sweet. I called Jen over and apologized and tried to tell her that I couldnt eat the pizza, it was far too sweet. Before she could really say more than "thats how our sauce is" another lady came over and asked if something was wrong. I told her about the pizza and she was very rude and forthcoming in saying "thats the sauce we always used", "everyone knows our sauce" , "you should have asked first" , "there is nothing wrong with this pizza" , "what do you want me to do, take it off the bill?" , " I still have to charge you for a plain cheese" She asked if I wanted to take it home and I told here I dont want it at all. So if you go to PUB 97, DO NOT ORDER THE PIZZA AND TELL BERNIE SHE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS. Ill be posting where ever I can find media to accept it and boy are there a great deal of places to leave a review about an eating establishment in this day and age of closing bars and belly up restaurants that would have given me better treatment, taken the pizza off the bill, endured the cost of it and kept their customers happy but not PUB 97

My story is that back in March of 2015 I witnessed my friend Damon eat the challenge burger at the Pub 97. That night he was told that he was only the second person to ever conquer this burger and his picture was taken along with him receiving a t shirt and a gift certificate. The next time we visited which was back in October of this year to use the gift card and bask in the glow of hi picture being on the wall. Not only was his picture not hanging but when he tried to use the gift card it was denied which caused us to have to dig deeper into our pockets than was expected. The waitress told us to contact the manager/owner to straighten things out. I called the next morning and spoke to Terry who was very adversarial when I told him what had happened. He argued that no one except for some professional eater had ever beat the challenge. When I backed it up with facts including one of the employees on hand that night was an acquaintance of mine he back off a little and told me to come back with Damon on a night he was working and he would take care of everything. Last night my grandson, Damon , and myself returned to the Pub 97. I asked and introduced myself to Terry and told him why we were there. He never had the decency to come out of the kitchen after that to give Damon his due. There is still no picture on the wall and no congratulations for a feat that is nearly impossible. Throughout this the Pub made another close to 65-70 dollars off of us. I for one will never return and I will make sure that people know how we were treated.

Ive NEVER been to a restaurant with such rude and unaccommodating service. Similar to another reviewer, last evening I went to Pub 97 and politely asked our waitress if the cook could make a steak tip and cheese sandwich. I said Id be fine paying the cost of the steak tip dinner (more than any sandwich on menu) - basically put it on a roll. I was told NO. I responded - I dont understand, Im not asking for something to be created - all the components Im requesting are on the menu. The answer was NO. Then an older waitress (not our tables waitress) took it upon herself to come over and reprimand me for daring to ask such a request. And I quote it is rude for patrons to make suggestions that arent on the menu...we are not a sub shop. No, maam you arent a sub shop - you are a pub that has approx 30 sandwich/subs on the menu, it shouldnt be out of the question to ask for a variation. SO rude - we are local/repeat customers and will not give them any further business.

Been going to the pub every friday night for 2 years with my now ex wife and now new girlfriend both love the pub for the food and the drinks dan makes an awsome margarita and multiple other drinks . The food is excellant and this is coming from a very picky eater if I can cook better I wont go to that rest. The tip are perfect the pasta is great the pizza is a must try and I have the baked haddock all the time these other reviews dont know good food if they didnt like the pub. I would bring anyone to the pub for dinner and drinks .

Fried pickles were good, nachos were OK. The waitress or bartender accidentally charged us for an extra drink, and they gave us a hard time about this. Our waitress said she was "too busy" to keep track of our orders on a Tuesday night. We werent rude about asking, so I am not sure what the attitude was for! Not sure if Ill come back. I didnt want to give this place 1 star because Ive only been here once.

What can be said about this place that hasnt already been talked about? They have an impressive list of 99 burger combinations that are so good you must come and try one! So many options to choose from, and the list keeps you coming back to try more. But dont just stop at the burgers, they make some good pizza, and have some nice dinners on the menu as well - if youre actually not eating a burger!

15 of us arrived on Sunday 45 minutes before they were opened on our bikes. The owner let us in out of the heat and said he was not open and the staff was not in yet but we could get drinks now just had to wait for food. Staff arrived and took our order right away and we were shocked at how fast the food came out and all together. Not to mention the food was great cant wait to go again.

My husband and I have been customers for years!... So disappointed in the menu they now serve! Had to go to their sister restaurant ...but to be fair they were great...to get my favorite dish! Now Pub97 not only does not serve Asian stir fry, but doesnt serve any of their original pasta dishes! I love you all Pub 97, but stop changing the menu..youre losing customers!

Had my first of the 97 burgers and it was very good. The beef was cooked just right, and very juicy. I ordered The Beast, it wasnt as spicy as it was touted, but still very good. The fries were some of the best Ive had in a while. They also have a pretty good selections of beers. I will be returning here sooner than later.
