Went to dinner at The Village Inn on Fathers Day. The kids and I had a wonderful time. We were a party of six without a reservation and the host staff was very accommodating and had us set up at a table upstairs in about 10 minutes after scurrying through the list of incoming large group reservations. Our waitress was excellent and attentive to our various and numerous needs. The food was delicious and plentiful. All but one took home leftovers. I had the Prime Rib (excellent) and my kids had entrees from across the menu, including burgers, chicken fingers, chicken parm, and baby back ribs. Im Italian and I thought the Marinara sauce for the Mozzarella sticks and chicken parm was delicious. One word of warning for potato skin lovers, the potato skins at The Village Inn are not what you would typically expect. They are basically 1/2 inch thick circles of sliced potatoes covered with melty cheese and bacony goodness. Unexpected, but still good! FYI the menu on their website seems up to date, from what I remember, if you want to check it out ahead of time.

My wife and I only discovered The Village Inn in Dracut about a year ago, and were very pleasantly surprised. These days we typically make it over there once every couple of weeks when we want a delicious dinner and dont feel like cooking. Weve never had to wait for a seat, but we do tend to get there a little early. Based on the parking lot, they look to do a lot of business in the evening. The service is always great and weve never had any problems with it. The food is very affordable for what it is (Its not expensive, but when youre talking Prime Rib, Steak Tips, Lobster Pie, Id be skeptical if it was cheap), plentiful, and delicious. Theyve got some great SurfnTurf options, and my wife and I agree that their Steak Tips may just be the best weve had. Long story short, I havent had a bad meal there yet, and always leave happy. Give them a shot if youre on the fence.

This restaurant runs hot and cold for me. Its old school with regards to the size of the meal and the food is good. The wait staff is busy and working hard, but they dont pay attention to detail. They are so rushed, that the customer suffers. Both the menu and decor needs a little updating. Bottom line, stop making it on the past. This was a great restaurant once, unfortunately its starting to seem a little tired.

The best part of the whole meal was the rolls. Very warm and delicious. Had to send back the artichoke dip because it was obviously microwaved. How do you get a hot dish with cold food in it? The entrees however were slightly warmer than the dip. Chicken and rice dry. Thankfully they made the salads right. Never going back, never recommending to anyone.

Lobster was overcooked in both my lobster pie and my sons mac and cheese. My other son didnt eat the fish, his discription was "its bad"on his baked seafood plate. My husbands medium rare bourbon prime rib arrived cold. Took a long time to get a hot one (everyone else had finished when he got it) only to find it wasnt med rare. Still good, just wrong.

Went for fathers day, had surf and turf. Best way to describe it is "SMALL", NY sirloin maybe 8 oz. , "King" crab legs(2), 1/2 inch thick, all for a whopping $30 american.Everyone else at the table was very happy with their meals. Will go back because steak was good and did see a lot of good looking meals. Avoid surf and turf with crab legs.

Ordered take out 4/14/17 and have to say it was not good at all. My husband had the Seafood Platter, which was overcooked and the calmari was so overdone it was burnt on the ends. I had the Village Haddock, which was a good portion size for the money, but the haddock was overcooked and dry. Needless to say will not be back

Food was great, service was exclelent but when the bartender needed something i was forced to wait on the manager for an obscene amount of time for a fresh glass and some change. The bartender had to make change out of her own pocket for me. Kudos to her, but what the hell on part of her boss.

Find the Village Inn to always be consistent in their food and service. Their combination seafood and meats are always tasteful, but their steak tips are to die for and has to be the best around even over the steak houses. The prices are in line with the food you are receiving and the amounts.

Their prime rib is amazing, best i have ever had. Everything else is rather mediocre. The mens bathroom has the hot water shut off almost completely so washing your hands kinda sucks.

Great food and value. Booths could used an overhaul to be more comfortable and youll have a wait on your hands most mid week/weekend nights but worth the pain and wait

Excellent service and quality of food. More food than I can eat in one sitting. Lunch specials well worth the trip. We eat here two or three times a week.
