The only saving grace this restaurant had, was that the cook was able to properly prepare a medium rare burger. I was disappointed that the restaurant charged almost $11 for a burger that tasted like it had Hormel chili plopped on top (a skimpy amount mind you) and didnt come with anything except a pickle. The waitress did ask me if I wanted to add fries or something else for an extra $2.99. That was a first for me! Also, the blue angus café is hardly a cafe. It should have been named bar and grille instead. The decor in the place looked like a lot of money was spent on sports memorabilia. If the owner had invested more on the menu I may have returned.

Im shocked by some of the other reviews Ive read on here. Ive gone here at least 3 times in the past couple of months all for dinner. Each time, I am amazed with the quality of food, the portions, the flavor, and best of all... THE PRICE!! I find this place VERY reasonable and cheaper than even such bad places as Chilis and Applebees. You can get one of the best burgers around for $8.00! I went there last time and got Baby Back Ribs for $10.00 and they were great! You show me another place with a big portion of baby back ribs for $10.00 that are fall off the bone, and Ill be surprised! Go here!!

Thought the burger was one of the best Ive had around here in a long time. The fries werent great...but they were hot, the burger more than made up for them. I dont drink and was by myself so I ordered a coke at the bar so I wouldnt be sitting alone at a table wasting space. The bartender looked at me like I told her to pull down her top. Needless to say, it wasnt busy and she should have been happy to have me around drinking booze or not. I will go back but shes going to get the same stupid look she gave me when I order a coke...again.

When this place 1st opened it was amazing... Then yesterday we order for my cousins bday and they forgot the clam chowder. No big deal but the food was awful and plain! No taste to the baked haddock or rice and it came with the smallest coleslaw @ a high $17. We wanted Scolas and decided since they were closed we would get Blue Angus. We were wrong. Even the to go boxes are now the cheap ones everyone uses! Oh and dont order the kids menu.... We got Kraft mac and cheese for $6 bucks and it was a very small portion. We wont be back!

3/11/12 Went here for the first time ,ordered an appetizer was good, but when I received my meal which was a chicken sandwich, had a piece of a tooth pick broke off in the sandwich about a half a inch long and sharp, told waitress, she didnt even ask if I was ok or even I wanted another sandwich, manager or shift supervisor did not approach me, to apologize.. Then to top it off sandwich was not removed from bill, will never recommend this place to anyone or ever go back..very disappointed ..

In general, over the years weve eaten there, the food has tasted decently. However, Id like to see new choices from time to time. Also, why must your prices be so high? Thats why I dont order dessert, tempting though they may be. Last night, I was quickly reminded how dark it is in there and, therefore, a little annoyed when we couldnt take advantage of the daylight. Service has always been good. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient.

We only come on Sundays and Mondays when they have several half half price appetizers wings and shrimp, delish! They are pricey here. They dont realize theyd increase their business greatly simply by including fries with their burger and sandwiches. This is absurd. If you get just the burger it looks isolated on the platter. Ill say I love their Caesar salad! What Ive had has been good to very good. The staff is very efficient and friendly.

Wasted money...for the price of the food they should invest in some seasoning. Food was soooo bland sandwhich and soup, the only thing that had flavor was the marble rye bread. Will not be back cant belive there is no flavor in anything....so disappointing save your money folks.... Or bring some Mrs.Dash seasoning with you.

Its a townie restaurant. They cater to their friends first. The menu is terrible and they charge you extra for fries with your sandwich. The drinks are on the stingy side and overpriced. My daughter order a kids meal of Mac and cheese for 6.99 and we got Kraft that we could have made for $1.

Stopped in to have a few drinks Friday night and every drink we asked for the bartender kept telling us they have it across the street and that we should go there, she said we should go across the street about 4 times before we finally got up and left , will never sit at that bar again

Great comfort food at a good value. Make sure to check Groupon before you head in. Staff are helpful and its convenient to get in and out. Ive had a few of the sandwiches, burgers, and the chili. Every visit was as good as the last.

Good upscale pub style restaurant. Great burgers. One of the best chicken parmesan around. Decent drinking crowd usually around the bar. Nice quiet place to watch a game and grab a bite

Size of baked haddock was small this visit for the $18.00 price . comes wirh 2 side. They charge $1.00 for broccali side. Not sure why?.. Should be included.. Waitress was ok.
