I love Betty Annes! It is the only place you can get an actual pickle sub, you read that correctly, a sub with just pickles (well I like it with mustard). The egg salad though is AMAZING, it is fresh, not much mayo and absolutely delicious. They load the subs with as much as they can possibly fit in the rolls! The bacon is also crispy and awesome addition to any sub.

Formerly from Danvers Ed Turner of Chelmsford, You can not beat there Tuna Subs. Unless they can not make them. All my life it has been incomparable. New management is killing it or me. The one day I go to get a Tuna Sub after being at a wake and at 7:15 they can not make any subs. What kind of business runs out of Rolls? PPL its your base to making subs...arrrrg.

Friendly and fast. Everything is very fresh, including the bread, even on a weekend. They also offer alternate toppings like sliced black olives and banana peppers, just to name a few of my favorites toppings. They will also give you hots as a side order so you can get things just the way you want it. It is the best place in town for subs. Al

got the soup and sandwich special. clam chowder tasted like it had extra cream in it and canned potatoes. soup quality not so good. got an Italian sandwich with everything. came with wheat bread and the meats didnt seem standard for what I get in other sub shops. over all I didnt like the sandwich.

I dont get all the rave reviews on this place from other sites. Its simply OK. The positives include having the choice of a pickle sub (not as good as Tastys though) & very friendly people working there. The subs are simply OK, nothing to write a rave review over.

best subs in the area-hands down. not an easy feat. meat-to-bread ratio is perfect. hots are hots and not banana peppers. these guys know exactly what they are doing. go out of your way and visit sweaty bettys.
