I will never go to this place again. On Saturday night, I took my two daughters for ice cream. We had gotten an ice cream cake there before and it was good. Also had gone to their grand opening a few years ago and talked to the owner and had a good experience. First off, the young kids were obnoxious. Couldnt for the life of them get the flavors right. There was a limited choice because apparently the ice cream machine was down. We decided to get swirl freezes. This is hard ice cream or frozen yogurt blended with topping in a machine. My daughters both got a small with one add-in. I ordered a large with two add-ins. Secondly, the large was the same exact size as the small size. The young boy said it was because the machine packed it down more. HUH? I tried to reason with him that the cup was the same size as the small and the amount of ice cream was the same. He did not budge in his conviction that he put 3 scoops into the large and that it was bigger. Lastly, it cost me $17.50 for the equivalent of 3 glorified Hoodsie cups! The place is a rip-off. Marthas Vineyard prices without the water view.

I stopped here for an ice cream. The ice cream was very good, but the portion size was small for the price ($4.00 for a small). Other local places charge similar prices but the portions are larger. The staff member who took my order was pleasant but the woman who I paid was distracted by talking with someone else. It really left me with a negative impression. Parking can be a problem in busy West Concord.

I love REASONS to be CHEERFUL! Its always fun to see what new flavors they have. Today I enjoyed Wild Strawberry with chocolate pieces. Since Im a chocoholic it was a perfect combination. The servers are always friendly and pleasant. Its fun to see the families with kids, who walk there for a treat. It has the feeling of a favorite neighborhood spot.

Whats not to love? The ice cream and sherbets are outstanding. My favorite is ginger. When you feel the need for that summertime lift, especially in January, Reasons to be Cheerful will raise your spirits and delight your tongue. Wade and his crew are friendly and fun and create a warm neighborhood feel. Hmmm. Time to go back.

Cheerful space with strong community vibes due to community posting board, local artist displays, and open mic/jam nights. Delicious ice cream is made on sight. Occasional off the wall flavors are fun and often worth the risk. Portion size can vary, due perhaps to seasonal staffing and the employment of many local youth.

Simply the best ice cream ever made. Homemade, generous portions, and flavors that change daily. Have it straight up, blend it up with fruit and toppings, or have it made it into a cake with layers of your choosing. If you know and love Kimballs, youll be happy to know that RTBC is even better!

Wish I knew about this place earlier. I KNOW ice cream and this place rules! "Adult" flavors and crazy combinations-- like maple bacon (with real bacon pieces.... not bits). Homemade everything.... from the ice cream to the hot fudge. Live music. Awesome for ice cream enthusiasts!

This place is worth a little extra drive out of your way. The ice cream was amazing, with great portions. My wife had the black raspberry ice cream, with real raspberries in it! I had the (best) salted caramel with pretzels.
