While this place is cute and food satisfying, I debated whether this place should be a 3.5 or 3 and ultimately went with the 3 stars since the experience we had was underwhelming. Even with the Groupon for 4 ($52 for up to $70) I still ended up paying an extra $4 since we ordered expensive crepes and each got a large Frozen Nutella Hot Chocolate ($7). (In retrospect we should have gotten smalls or mediums from the sugar high that immediately followed.) We went on a rainy Friday after Thanksgiving and I was hoping everyone else would have either stayed in or were out busy hunting for Black Friday deals. Unfortunately when we arrived around 1:15pm all tables were still occupied and my SO was still busy trying to find a parking spot in back. A few parties were wrapping up and we were so entranced by the menu to put in our order for 4, that we didnt have one of the people secure a table before ordering. Some regulars that sauntered in afterwards sniped the seat quickly afterwards so we had to awkwardly shuffle around WAITING for what seemed like an interminable 10-15 minutes before a separate table cleared. Mind you this part is not a gripe on the restaurant/staff, but the incredibly INCONSIDERATE patrons - 1 gentleman sipping his coffee as if he were actually in Paris reading the newspaper occupying a corner of a table for 2 and sprawled out uninvitingly taking up the space for 3 other seats. 3 hipster early-20s adults who had LONG since finished their food when we arrived and did not finally leave until probably 45 minutes later, paying no attention to us and others that followed who were desperately looking for a table. They probably spent 1+ hour just loitering around chit chatting with no food or drink to finish. Theres a special place in hell for those individuals. Albeit this would be fine if the restaurant wasnt jam packed... I know its not hospitable to ask patrons to leave perhaps some signage about being mindful of other patrons would help? I was completely off put by the initial struggle to find a table in this charming (yet TINY) establishment, but did not hold it against them in the overall rating (if I did this would be a 2 star review). Anyway the food itself was good (not amazing) and I LOVE that they have the monthly special crepes. My friend ordered the Stranger Crepes (Stranger Things) and they have movie poster theme to go with it. Me and my other friend ordered the Storming of the Basil probably just because it seemed like it was the best value with the voucher, but to be honest I enjoyed my SOs John Goudaman crepe much more. They have both savory and sweet crepes, I think the savory ones are definitely more filling. In comparison to Crepe Escape in Alaska food stand, Id have to give them the preference. Im hoping that if we ever come back, knowing what I know it will be more of a 4+ star experience.

I had just finished a tech conference, and was staying the weekend with my sister in Brookline. The day before I flew home, she suggested we get some crepes before our jaunt to Fenway. I have never been to a crepe place before. Not sure what to expect. We found the establishment pretty crowded, with all tables occupied. After ordering, I triaged the patrons who I thought might leave soon. After picking my target table, I commenced on overtly staring at the girl who was sitting in the chair facing me. I fixed a penetrating stare on her for about three minutes, her eyes darting back and forth between me and the others in her party. Finally, she could take no more and the table was relinquished. I moved in quickly to lay my rightful claim. Mind you, we were there Saturday morning, and there was no shortage of customers. We waited about 15 minutes for our order, but passed the time people watching out the big picture window. The crepes were good enough. I really dont have a baseline with which to compare above average to substandard. In my opinion, the best part was just being there, and commenting on the general public who happened to serve as our morning entertainment.

It is raining and gross out. I just got back from an event and my legs and eyes hurt. Its 9:45 and a thought pops in my head, "My BuyWithMe to the Paris Creperie is expiring today! So, I hustle down to Coolidge corner (I was only a block away) and ask if I could show them the voucher number on my phone. They said it was no problem. Not only did they help me out by taking a voucher without having a printed copy, but they put the funds into a gift card so I wouldnt be pressed to spend it all in the five minutes remaining til closing time. Okay, I know that this is probably breaking some rule or two, but I think that businesses really benefit from working with their customers. I dont think I would ever see this kindness at any big franchise, but the little creperie down the street made me a believer again in customer service. I am impressed! So heres my pitch....Ahem...not only does this place have incredible totally delicious crepes, they also have great customer service! And now they have one extremely loyal customer.

The only thing I will ever complain about at Paris Creperie is the lack of space to sit during the busy periods, but thats a sign that this is a beloved Coolidge Corner establishment. In addition to a very creative crepe selection, this restaurant also shares my love of Nutella. You can get Nutella crepes, hot chocolate, and smoothies anytime that theyre open. And they even have some days where Nutella crepes are part of promotional packages. The last time I was in there, I had a Don Creper and I had to stay seated for a few minutes to let it all settle. The portions are substantial and youll usually find a lively crowd in the restaurant. Its also near the Coolidge Corner Theater and Brookline Booksmith, so you can find a movie to watch or a good book to read.

I would still say Crispy Crepes in Brookline is the place to go but if your in the coolidge corner area this place is a great choice. They have so many varieties and crepes to satisfy either a sweet or savory craving. Its a great place to meet up with a friend for a midweek breakfast or lunch but be warned this place can get pretty crowded on Saturdays and Sundays and seating is limited. I ordered the creamsicle smoothie with the storming of the basil savory crepe and the two together hit the spot.

Today was the first time Ive been to the creperie. Walk up counter order what you like, have some good fair trade organic coffee or choose from a list of smoothies, sit if you can find a seat or walk off with your crepe in hand and enjoy. I had the western omelet today ($5.95). More egg would have been better but it was good. I can see why people dont like the seating arrangements but guess what, they knew there would not be great seating if they did some research. Ill be back.

This is a nice food truck scene that is a great evening activity. The dishes are slightly pricey but a good method would be to bring someone along and take turns purchasing. If you would prefer to go solo that night, come hungry! The lines per truck can be long but they rather quickly.Theres live music and multiple areas for waste/recycling/compost/landfill. Drinks can be pricey so bring a water bottle or drink along. Not sure if alcohol beverages are permitted in the area.
