Awesome experience. Went there for a cake tasting for our wedding. The girl was extremely helpful and creative. Every cake was phenomenal and Im not a big cake person. We went their just looking to check it out and we left there with them scheduled for our wedding. Reminded me of the show Cake Boss. When we arrived the bakery was full with people. Ive never seen this many people at a bakery. A few cakes are on display at the front and a typical bakery display at the back. Albeit, much larger than any Ive seen, going from wall to wall. Tons of employees to help customers get baked goods or pick up something they ordered. You also have a partial view of the kitchen where it looked like close to 2 dozen workers working on different projects. When we arrived we went to the desk to inform them we had arrived. We waited a few minutes, then were taken to the back. Theres a room with multiple tables and chairs where they meet with people for cake designs for smaller scale events. I.e. birthday parties, graduations, etc. Then there is 2 small rooms for wedding cake consultation appointments. You have a private meeting with a consultant who first brings you every available cake flavor. We had close to a dozen. Then they leave you with a tablet to look over their HUGE portfolio of wedding cakes (Standard or Premium) and to taste the flavors. By the way, the "standard" cakes are some of the nicest youll ever see, "Premiums" are outstanding. Again, every cake tasted amazing. Then she returned and talked with my fiancé about designs. Comparing both pictures of their cakes and ones my fiancé had found on the internet. After some deliberation she went to a station where there are 3 computers, to create some designs. She came back with printed designs that had my fiancés exact pictured cakes and also their own ideas. Needless to say they are extremely prepared, seasoned, and extremely friendly. All of it was a bit overwhelming. In a good way. Anyways, after seeing how perfect and grand these cakes were, we were expecting it to be a bit pricy. It was not. Intriguingly, to our suprise, They are actually on the cheaper end. And have a quality that we hadnt seen the likes of before. I went their expecting to see beautiful cakes at unreasonable prices. But arrived to affordable cakes that were much better than my fiancé had dreamed of. We reserved them for our wedding day. Which, apparently, they do 12 weddings in a day so you shouldnt have any problems with scheduling. They put us in and required no deposit. We put down money anyway, but were surprised with how reasonable and customer friendly this place is. The consultant went on to tell us that the owner is always telling them to do everything they can for the customers to make it as affordable, manageable, and stress free as possible. Thats exactly how our experience was. A side note, as I said above, they are extremely flexible. Their is no limit as to how many times you can change the design. You can have as many appointments as youd like to tweak things. Pickup or delivery. And are allowed to personally supply them with things youd like on your cake. All of this can be done up to a month prior of scheduled delivery date. Also, to top it all off we left with a full box of complimentary pastries. It was a truly great experience and I will highly recommend them to people looking for a unique and special cake for any life event.

Have bought several cakes form Konditor Meister. My favorite is the Grand Marnier strawberry cake. I have had others like a regular chocolate cake it seemed rather dry, but this seems to be their best. Yellow cake with grand marnier mixed in, with either chocolate or white frosting decorated with your choice of white chocolate dipped strawberries or Regular Milk Chocolate dipped strawberries and wrapped with a ribbon. If you want to have Happy Birthday or Congratulations on it, they write it on a edible white "card" I usually get the one that feeds about 10-15 costs around $30. Every time I have bought one I have not had any issues, the family likes the cake and it save me the trouble of making them. I do recommend the Grand Marnier cakes! **Update: 6/23/2015 Ordered my daughters Bridal Shower cake here, they did an amazing job, I went in earlier that week and had them customize a birthday cake into a Bridal shower cake using her colors. It was awesome. We did the Strawberry Grand Marnier cake and had white chocolate dipped Strawberries with navy drizzle. Got dozens of compliments on it and the flavor was fantastic!

Saw on Phantom Gourmet and thought Id try them. Very disappointed and will not return! Drove about 40 minutes to pick up cake for my daughters baby shower. Drove two hours to CT for party, sooo looking forward to cake at end and how wonderful it must taste. It looked beautiful, but the looks are definitely deceiving. They used real ribbon on it and had piped designs on them. You had to remove all that before eating. The rabbit designs were horrible tasting. Very bland. The cake was supposed to be Golden and was white. The banana cream was like a paste and not great flavor. The chocolate mousse was ok, but so think spread. The frosting ended up being a bland coolwhip, not buttercream it was ordered to be. I was so embarrassed to have served such a horrible cake to those that surprised my daughter with such a beautiful gathering for baby to come. Never again. I will tell all I know, do NOT go there unless buying from pastry case, maybe thats the stuff that tastes good to keep you in business. Cake good for viewing, but not eating for sure. To enjoy, you must have no taste buds is all I can assume.

I ordered a cake for my 2 yr old niece and sent a picture. When I arrived to pick up the cake, it was nothing compared to what I requested. I requested a purse and the purse on the cake was a flat rectangle with the upper corners turned in. It looked like a grandmas purse, not a 2 yr olds! Also, there was minimal decoration on the cake. I paid $20.00 for the purse and I was told it was rolled chocolate but it had a bitter after taste and was inedible. When I complained, the store clerks that looked like they were no more than 17 yrs old told me that the pic was not clear. I asked why I didnt receive a call if it was not clear. I was also told that I called the day before for the cake and they were doing me a favor. I was not told that and I told her if that meant a poorly decorated cake, then they shouldnt have taken the order. After going back and forth, I decided to take the cake home but I was still not satisfied with the cake I paid $70.00 for. I dont think I will trust them again. I was not satisfied and at no point did a manager speak to me.

I have ordered almost all my important events cake from Konditor Meister. I have never encountered such pain like today. I called to ask for a birthday cake couple of days ago. One person answered the phone and gave me an email address to send the picture on and told me when you send it, call back and will help you. Sounds good! I sent it then I called back. Another person answered the phone and told me the designer of our cake is not working today. We will give you a call back when they review the pictures. No one called !! So, I called today to see how things are. She asked me for the email subject "they never reviewed the photo" then told me on the spot that its not gonna work. If you want a cake send us the whole design for the cake. So, if I can design a cake, why do I call you!!! They were very unhelpful and felt a lot push back. Fine if you not going to help me, I will go somewhere else where they have people who can really help!!! Thanks for the bad treatment Konditor Meister
