Sunday morning, busy time. Order 2 large lattes. Waiting 15 minutes to get them. They keep passing people who went through the line after us, in front of us, including using coffees requiring the espresso machine. Tell the guy that we think they forgot us. Insists they do the iced coffees first and regular coffee too. We wait again. We see them making again lattes for people who at this point have gone through the whole line and who clearly ordered after us. We tell him again. Instead of acknowledging that they messed up our order, just tells us "im sorry youre frustrated that it had to take long". For this reason I am never returning to this location ever EVER again. And to top it off, our coffee was mediocre when we finally received it. THANK YOU for your unbelievable customer service.

My first visit here was pleasant. I didnt have to to wait long even though it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The cashier/server was supet friendly and took my order with ease. I wasnt excited at how long it took to package up the pieces of pie I ordered to go but there is cold water and lovely music while you wait and an ever changing inspirational quote to entertain you. You can also peek through the latest Flour cook book in the small retail area although I wouldnt want to get back in line necessarily. But their cookbooks are AMAZING! By the way the, and most importantly, the pies were incredible and loved by everyone who tasted them!

Delicious "pop-tarts" and jelly donuts... And regular coffee. But do not call yourselves a "café" if ordering a cappuccino sends you into a state of confusion. Waited approx 10 minutes for a cappuccino and it looked like there were a few people hovered around the espresso machine. Not sure if there was a problem. To top it off, the wait was not worth it. The foam layer had the consistency of the soap bubbles left in the sink after washing hands and the espresso layer was not very tasty. I am being a little nitpicky, I know, but it frustrates me when the basics are not done correctly. Oh, and the prices were more than reasonable. Thank you.

Oatmeal raisin cookies, homemade oreos, filled donuts, creative sandwiches: the list of reasons to visit Flour could go on and on. My personal favorite, however, is the daily quiche special, which is always unique and flavorful. The staff are helpful and passionate about what they do, with good reason. Memorable sandwiches include the BLT with roasted tomatoes and the grilled roasted chicken with brie, arugula, roasted peppers, and caramelized onions. Beware, however, of the breakfast sandwich; the egg looks and tastes premade.

Flour Bakery is (with Sofra) my favorite place for breakfast or lunch, and I will continue to go there in great preference over Tatte. I do, however, have two critiques: the use of a preservative in the sun-dried tomatoes, when non-preservative tomatoes are readily available (at Whole Foods, for ex.); and the use of commercial mayonnaise, when there is such vast superiority in taste and such ease in making ones own. With Flours overall excellent standards, these anomalies are hard to understand.

Really nice. Really modern bakery shop. Not much vegan options but at least they ALWAYS have at least one vegan pastry. I use to get their hot chocolate which is good. I was recently told that it is made with heavy cream so beware. I gave a four star because that further decreased my options over there. I cant comment on the other stuff as well. Thier vegan stuff is good though. Thier customer base is often pretentious but the staff are always down to earth. Weird contrast.

Always crazy busy, and for good reason - everything is delicious! This location doesnt quite have the charm (or tight space and insane lines) of the original location in the South End, but its always bustling nonetheless. The seasonal pastries are just as good as those served year-round (Sticky Buns, of course, are always a hit), and the sandwiches are really fantastic, and filling! Also surprisingly good: the Vegan Berry Muffin Tops - even for the non-vegan among us.

Aptly named, Flour Bakery is a patisserie serving a scrumptious selection of breads, pastries, quiches and the likes along with an assortment of teas and coffees. They also offer a variety of craft sandwiches. Located in the heart of Cambridge, Flour is best approached on foot or by bicycle. Seating is limited to two window bars and some small tables, which makes securing a sit down meal challenging during the morning rush hours or when the weather is inclement.

I was quite happy when this cambridge location of Flour Bakery popped up mostly for the location. Its crowded like the other locations but I have only encountered great service. I love their soups and pastries. Their carrot cake is absolutely delicious and pure indulgence. I love their mini tarts and oatmeal raisin cookies. Come in off hours if you can. This place is tiny and it can get quite crowded. That said it fits in a decent amount of seating.

I purchased the soba salad, fruit salad, and Oreo cookie. The soba salad dressing was a little too sour for my taste, but the combination of ingredients (soba, daikon, spinach, pineapple) worked very well together. The fruit salad was good, but the Oreo cookie was a little disappointing because I expected it to be a soft cookie, not a hard cookie. Overall the food was still very good, but a little pricey. Customer service was good.

They used to be a nice and friendly lunch place back in 2015. Since, everything only went downhill. Food got more salty, quality of ingredients declined. The new electronic ordering system screws up every other order. Staff used to be cool and hipster, and now they are not friendly, work like robots, and likely only get the minimum wage. The place is less crowded than 2 years ago... because its not that good anymore.

The food is very good. I especially like their BLT, the French toast, and the various pastries they serve. However, I would not recommend going here for coffee. Ive had both their iced coffee and a latte here recently and they both had the same burnt/bitter taste. Bad enough to the point where I threw out the iced coffee after a few sips... If you want good coffee, go to Darwins across the street instead.

Always a great experience at these locations. The staff here were funny as I debated between the sticky bun and the pan au chocolate...of course I got the sticky bun! Its prefect and can beat bobby flay any day. When we said we were waiting for the bus, they said 30 seconds for my friends egg sandwich and the other staff said oh really? 30, 29, 28.... which was funny. He made it and then we made the bus!

Whether youre in the mood for tea with a book to read or take-out, the Sticky Buns will blow your mind. The sandwiches are spectacular, with fresh/local ingredients (tender, well-cooked meats). Breakfast and banter amongst MIT students are equally impressive. Highlights: Roast Lamb w/Tomato Chutney & Goat Cheese, Grilled Chicken w/Brie/Arugula/Peppers & Caramelized Onion

Best home fries ever. Sometimes they are not on the chalkboard but ask, because they probably have it. Made with seasonal extras. I also enjoy the egg sandwich (Im vegetarian but I save the bacon for my dog), which is more like a rich quiche/fritatta on perfect bread than an egg sandwich. Good pots of tea. Also a great place to watch Cantabridgeans to their thing.
