Unfortunately, our dinner at this restaurant was definitely not what we had hoped or expected. The waiter that we had made us feel rushed and like he just wanted us to finish and leave. The quality of food was way below what you expect when paying that much; bad enough to leave us feeling a little sick afterwards. Its pretty sad when the new waiter who has only been working there for two nights is nicer and more poise than the waiter he was training under. Service was sloppy. When you pay higher prices like these it is a shock when they pour the water AND wine in the glasses on the table, leaving stains on the table cloth! When the receipt came we were upset to see that they had charged us extra for one of the pasta choices with no warning, but by asking they took it off the bill. Overall, definitely not what we expected, sloppy, low quality food, and sad service...dont think we will be going there again...

I usually dont write reviews but this gem of a restaurant in downtown Ayer is a must try. I went there for dinner and had Lobster with Gnocchis that was in a light sherry cream sauce with a side green beans sauted to perfection. The food was great, the atmosphere was quaint and the wait staff was very attentive --- overall a great evening and excellent meal. I will definitely go back there again, again and again ....

They have a killer carbonara and mix great great drinks. This is our favorite family restaurant and have never had a bad meal. We take family and friends visiting and they fall in love with the homemade pasta and Alfredo sauce themselves. You must visit Lucias Tavola!

My wife and I enjoy having dinner in the North End. However, if you have a 45 minute drive to Boston and youre concerned about having a glass of wine or two, its not necessary to make that trip all the time, need I say more.

The food is wonderful, a little pricey, but well worth it. My girlfriend and I come on Mondays, and Kyle takes wonderful care of us. Very nice, quiet location to grab a great dinner, with fantastic wine selection.
