I love Thai food. Krua khun Yah is the one closest to where I live. I liked the environment from looking outside and had thought they may be able to serve good Thai food. That was why I decided to order the dinner from them for my moms birthday. I ordered two different dishes, each should offer one half duck according to the menu( The price is similar to the half duck price in Boston China Town). To my surprise, I just saw the one HALF duck BREAST. I always thought one chicken meant one whole chicken and one halft chicken meant one half of the whole chick including one half chicken breast, one wing, one drumstick, and one thigh. When it comes to the duck, it would be the similar. So I was very upsetted, not seeing the rest of the half duck. I went back to the restaurant to ask about the "half duck". They told me arrogantly that in Thais culture they didnt eat other parts of the duck but the breast. They didnt even say sorry as if I was the one who should be blamed for the misunderstanding and I should have understood their culture and known that the half duck meant duck breast. I was furious by their response and told them that they should be at least honest with the menu description and use the language that people can understand without doubt. The duck breast is NOT half duck, by any means. Here is their menu description for the dishes I ordered. Anyway, I didnt pay them a visit ever since. As of the food, it is not as good as the ones you can find in Boston. TAMARIND DUCK Roast half duck with baby corn and carrots in tamarind sauce. N/A 15.25 PANANG CRISPY DUCK Boneless crispy half duck in panang curry sauce and coconut milk with lemon leaves and basil leaves. Served on a bed broccoli, carrots and string beans. N/A 15.25

We were looking for a good Thai restaurant and wanted to recreate the food experience we enjoyed at Ban Thai, a now-defunct place from downtown Framingham. People had recommended two other nearby Thai restaurants but both appear to have closed! (What is it with this food genre?) So we tried Krua Khun Yah and are very happy - and will go back. We had Tom Yun and Tom Kah soups, both just as we liked them from past experience. The spring rolls, not so much; the filling was kind of mealy and we wont get them again. Chicken satay - also just so-so; maybe it was undercooked, but the chicken seemed almost processed, the grille marks appeared painted on. The peanut dipping sauce, however, was perfect. The pad Thai was spot on, however, and if we just had that and the soups, we would have been satisfied. We also got Beef Rendang which was great, spicy and in a coconut-based sauce. And even though it featured some unidentifiable vegetables, it was delicious. My husband got the pork house fried rice, which I dont consider a Thai specialty but he always asks for that... but you needed rice to support the sauce from the Beef Rendang so it worked out quite well. We will go back and continue to try new items as well as enjoy our favorites with their familiar flavors that we craved. PS we got take out - everything was packaged very well.

Prices are reasonable, food is fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere very pleasant. We love this Thai restaurant! Its our picky-eater 5-year olds favorite place to eat. They make lomein noodles for her without vegetables on request, the crab rangoon and steamed potstickers are always popular with both my kids. The mango and pineapple curry dish, fresh spring rolls and the Tom kah soup with tofu are my favorite. The veggies are all very fresh and the service is courteous and prompt. A nice change from the usual chinese or pizza night out.

I love this place, and even though theyve messed up my orders a few times, it still tastes awesome so I always go back. I always have to make sure they dont give me regular crispy chicken; its crispy chicken BASIL. Theyre always short-staffed on waitresses but theyre not usually busy, so its fine. I am always trying new dishes there and the only thing I did not like was their duck pad Thai.

Very good food and very good atmosphere (aside from the mens bathroom, which reminds me of a gas station bathroom in the slums of Philly), incredible architectural design. But I will not go back and eat here at least for sit down service because of the absolutely HORRIFYINGLY ATROCIOUS service we received while there. Id rather get service from a dead guy...hed at least be more attentive.

Excellent, fresh Thai food- not your greasy takeout joint but a true gem. Seems like most folks do takeout but comfortable space to sit and enjoy your meal. I enjoyed three favorites that were prepared perfectly: chicken satay with peanut sauce, pad see ew with beef (using Chinese broccoli, the best way!), and panang curry with chicken (plenty of fresh veggies). Highly recommended.

Really good Thai food, quiet atmosphere. Best part? When you ask for spicy it actually comes out spicy! None of this watered down "they didnt really mean it" type of spicy usually found in Massachusetts ethnic restaurants. The Thai Ribs appetizer is fantastic and the Grandmas Duck is my favorite!

Weve been to many Thai restaurants, in many cities, and Krua Khun Yah is a very nice Thai restaurant. The food is very tasty, and the waiters and staff are polite and efficient. We feel lucky that there is such good Thai food nearby and we hope it stays open for a very long time!

Great Thai food, a nicely balanced menu with plenty of healthy options, quick service, and a quiet environment to eat in. Were long-time happy customers. Dont be put off by the lack of people eating in the restaurant—this place runs a very healthy take-out business.

This is honestly my favorite Thai food restaurant of all time. Ive never tried a food there that I have not loved. The ingredients are all fresh and absolutely delicious. The food paired with the impeccable service is what makes this restaurant so spectacular.

I had been looking for a Thai place to eat after falling in love with it this summer while living somewhere else. I was happy to find Krua Khun Yah. The service is great and the food is even better. The Pad See You is AWESOME. Definitely go here.

Food is very good and consistent. Prices are higher than most thai restaurants but with little choice in the metrowest culinary wasteland what can you do? Thai pepper in milford is definitely a better choice if youre in the area.

The food was great, but the wait staff wasnt the best. They didnt give us extra plates with our appetizers so our food dripped everywhere. I would highly recommend coming here as the food is well worth it.

This place is on the weekly lunch rotation at the office. No matter what you order, be sure to have with Crispy Chicken Basil-- it could give bacon a run for its money as the Candy of Meats.

They are clear on the phone and polite when I pick up my dinner. Also very fast. However they have a 25 dollar minimum for delivery. Its almost like they dont want delivery customers.

Very fresh, very well prepared. Professional, attentive, and courteous staff. I consistently enjoy their food both in the dining room and for those take-out nights. Go!
