We just left 2 Home Cooks and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, coffee was good, and the service was some of the best we have had! Our waitress, Nikki, was incredible! We had been waiting a while do to a mishap with the hostess and told her about it. She gave us a muffin on the house and made sure we had everything we wanted. We loved the atmosphere, and appreciated the complimentary coffee outside while we were waiting. We cant wait to go back again!

"Weve got to come back here." Thats what my girlfriends 13 year old son said after biting into his chicken sandwich. We stopped in today for the first time. Clean, friendly atmosphere. The counter seating overlooks the open kitchen. Food made to order with much of it lovally sourced. Simple, uncluttered menu. This shop is a pot of gold. If youre reading this, youve got to try it.

Our group loves 2 Home Cooks! We generally come in as a big party and they are so accommodating! Their homemade biscuits and sausage gravy are to die for! They always have super unique specials and their staff rocks!!! You know its amazing food when people are more than happy to wait for tables and their complementary coffee is just icing on the cake!

The breakfast here resembles a true home cooked meal. My new favorite place in Dover. Their sausage is simply perfect! Moist homemade biscuits. Get there early enough on a nice sunny day and be able to sit outside. If youd rather take it to go they have that too. Exactly what Dover needed for breakfast! Shout out to the cooks and the owners!

Clean open kitchen. happy cooks! good food. I am always happy to go back. Seems like there may be a wait? ask if the counter is available. Its like a food bar. if this was a high end restaurant, those would be the premium, most coveted seats. it may not be a high end restaurant, but those are still premium seats and often go unused!

We love this place because A. you get to bring a well-behaved dog if you can sit outside. So that alone makes you feel like youre in some Paris Bistro. B. The food is delicious and fresh. C. The service is responsive but not overbearing. Plus its a very local establishment.

The staff was so friendly. You can tell they enjoy what they do and take pride in their product. The food was phenomenal. All made from scratch and delivered to the table in a timely manner. We just became their new regulars for Saturday brunch. Excellent establishment.

Great food and friendly people. The groovy chicken and waffle was delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy; the cream sauce was very flavourful and went well with the chicken. The sautéed spinach and mushrooms on the side was simple but delicious.

Accidentally found this new place in town. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, affordable, and truly delicious home cooked food. On my second vist, I cried a little over my perfectly prepared Eggs Benedict over homade biscuits. Worth a vist.

Love this place. Have eaten breakfast (YUM) and lunch (nice different choices) and both meals have been great. Often a crowd, but never too long to get a table. Staff is SUPER friendly and nice. A very enjoyable place to go.

Tried the eggs benedict. The poached eggs were overcooked and not runny and the hollandaise sauce was not the right consistency. It was more watery than creamy. However the service was very friendly and the food tasted good.

This place is friendly, wonderful and the cooks are intimate and efficient with their food. There pancakes are amazing and my boyfriend loves their biscuits and benedicts. Totally recommended, you wont be disappointed!
