My wife and I have tried only a few things on the menu. We must say though, all of them are outstanding. Were usually greeted by Rose who is always friendly and more than accommodating when placing our order. There is always at rhe least a few bicyclist whove cruised on up from the canal bike path. The Cafe seems to be a favorite for these hungry and thirsty travelers. The sandwich menu tends to be heavy with healthy choices. But if a stiff double shot of espresso is what you need, they can get you going with that as well. I certainly look forward to my morning or any time visits to this hidden gem in Williamsport. Im always sure I wont be disappointed.

My wife and I biked up around 2pm a couple weeks ago after a late start down from Hancock. They took great care of us with delicious food, great baked goods, and camelbak refills. The offer was made to only charge me for my food, then put my wife to work washing dishes the rest of the day and drive her that evening to our B&B in Shepherdstown... after a few long days in the saddle she gave it serious thought. I wish I could pick this place up and drop it on the corner down the block from our house -- Williamsports got quite a gem with Desert Rose.

The Desert Rose Cafe is a fabulous place to stop for lunch. The freshly made sandwiches & wraps were absolutely delicious. The owner and entire staff were phenomenal—very friendly, appreciative, and caring for their customers. They offered to fill our water bottles with ice and cold water before leaving. They also offer have a variety of inner tubes available in case you need to pick up some extras. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Stopped here while biking the GAP and C&O trail. We were hungry, tired, dirty, and we were treated like kings. Food is simple but spot on and good prices. Staff were some of the nicest people we met on the trail. Brought out and ice bag for my injured knee, even washed and filled up our water bottles. Serving karma by the cup indeed! Thank you! (Ps we made it to the end, 350 miles!)

Stopped here on June 3 on our bike trip on the GAP and C&O towpath and receive outstanding service. They offered to clean and fill our water bottles and hydration packs! The even asked if we wanted ice for the hydration packs. Wonderful sandwiches and would recommend this place for anyone biking the C&O tow pack and looking for a great place to refuel in Williamsport.

Seriously, when it comes to "hometown atmosphere" and staff that go to the moon and back to make you feel that you belong there, good luck finding a better place than Desert Rose Cafe. Enjoy a cup of Joe there more than once and youll be asked how youve been since you were there last. More than three times, theyll know you by name. I couldnt recommend it enough!

Its become part of my daily week, especially when I have my daughter with. The staff is friendly to the point we consider them friends. The place is kept clean. They run efficient. A wait for food is only if its busy and its worth it because they put care into it and its delicious! Its a comfy home away from home.

I stopped at this Cafe during a bike tour. It was the best stop we made the whole trip. My partner is vegetarian and I prefer health food. Rose is super nice and even filled our water bottles with ice water before we got back on the bikes. She packed us food for diner and the prices were very reasonable.

Really neat place. The owner Rose is great! The healthy side with a sandwich is a great option. We got the bag of veggies instead of chips. And the coffee and pastries are really good. Stop at this place if you can. Well be making it a regular stop over on our drives along I-81.

Small place but with big flavors! The staff is super friendly, sandwiches are big and flavor packed, and you have to try their soups (love the gaspacho on a hot summer day!) This is a favorite stopover for bicyclists from the canal so lunch can be crowded.

Such friendly staff and great atmosphere. As a bicyclist passing through this little cafe was the perfect lunch stop with lots of resources availablebif you needed them. The food was delicious and hit the spot after a long hot day on the C&O canal path.

This is the worlds best food with the worlds best chefs!!!!! The staff is the best, funny, kind, and polite! If you visit Williamsport, your visit is NOT complete without the Desert Rose Cafe! I suggest 100000/10. Too bad I cant rate 100 stars

Good food, including many healthy options, and portions for hungry cyclists and walkers. After I stupidly left and forgot to pay, the staff was still nice! Alan also gave me a free ride to the nearby hotel. Much appreciated!

Great experience! Definitely recommend stopping here. The food is excellent, the staff and owner are super friendly and they have great desserts! They do serve gluten free bread when they have it, which is a nice bonus.

The food was pretty plain but there were some decent healthy choices. The staff was nice and welcoming to us and even brought water out to our dog. We will probably come here again the next time we visit williamsport.

Small but beautiful cafe. They have a small seating area in the front by the counter but a few more tables in a back dinning room for a sit down lunch.
