The worst customer service I have ever experienced. We had a Groupon and went there. We love ethnic restaurants and try to be supportive of the Wheaten food scene. We thought the food was decent. However, they did not have most of the beers on the menu and did not have 3 of 5 food dishes we tried to order. It was a little frustrating, but not a big deal. The waitress brought a beer we ordered but no glass aand no opener. We opened it ourselves after several minutes. A few minutes later she came back with a glass an opener so not a huge deal but the beer was getting hot. Then our appetizers and food all came together in one rush. Nothing was identified just plopped down all at once and she disappeared again. When we finished eating, we wanted dessert, and waiting for our waitress to come back, after over 20 minutes I was able to get her attention, she told me to wait. She never came back. I finally flagged down another waitress, several minutes later and she gave us a random dessert (not very good) but not what we wanted. Might have been an English barrier or she might not have cared. Fine. We got the bill, which was $10 below the Groupon, in part because we couldnt get a servers attention to order more drinks or dessert. They said we had to pay tax and tip in cash. So we did and tipped them a better than they deserved (8%). As we left, they came running after us (they finally paid attention to us, amazing) demanding we give them more tip, supposedly there is a 15% minimum tip required; we were so exhausted we did not put up a fight with a server that barely spoke english. We should put up more of a fight but we were late for something after asking 2 times for desert and 3 times for the check. We will never go back. I cannot believe how we were treated and then they made us out to be the bad guys and demanded more tip for the worst service of my life (Im a 20-25% tipper, first time Ive left that bad of a tip in my life but it was deserved, not even an apology for ignoring us). We will never go there again, and cannot wait for the day this place closes down so that something better comes in.

My Dad is the chef at this restaurant and I think his food is amazing. I am not saying this because I am bias I am a foodie like everyone else. I am a picky eater and my dad has been cooking for over 20 years and when given the chance he can make you feel as if you are back in Korea. This restaurant has been in this location for over 20 years and that needs to be considered during a time of fast-food effecting restaurants like the one my dad works at. When strictly talking about food my dads Korean Short ribs, Kimchi, Nayngmyun are my personal favorites. My dad has been trained through legends in Korea and his recipes are made through countless nights of testing and trials. If you are saying that my dads food is bland or flavorless you clearly do not know Korean flavor. Its not like american food where salt is our middle name. Korean food is a filled with different flavor and depths of tradition passed down from our mothers and grandmothers and other great chefs with the side dishes and korean BBQ which has become a staple at Maryland.

This place has gone down hill since I was here last, years ago. Upon arriving on a not particularly busy Tuesday night we waited a good 5-10 mins before a hostess even approached us. As we sat, there were floor fans blowing. Not a good sign of a well kept restaurant. As we waited for a waitress, I noticed the table next to us had to grab napkins from another table. They were terribly understaffed. Also. the exhaust fans werent working well. There was smoke everywhere, not good for our infant son. After 15 mins of waiting and not even being acknowledged by a waitress, we left disappointed. I will never go back.

Hello all. I figured I might as well let you all know of what happened this past Fathers Day, at this "wondrous" restaurant. Low and behold, 8 hours after eating at this restaurant, I started experiencing chronic diarrhea, nausea, headaches, and fatigue. All of which originate from a horrible ailment: Food Poisoning. The food was all right, but the after math of this was absolutely horrendous, and even as I am writing this 72 hours later, I am still suffering from the symptoms. Just thought Id let you know, that their change of ownership has really reflected on the entire business as a whole.

Went there for the week-day lunch buffet once, thought the short ribs were really good. But except that, theres nothing special. It was still a good bang for the buck though ($9.95 for the buffet). Got the Groupon deal, so went there again for a real meal. Got the short ribs again because they were just that good. Also got pan-fried dumplings for appetizer and a eel meal. They were all very tasty with rich sauce, well-cooked fish and meat, and distinct flavors. However, without the Groupon deal, I would say this place is a little over-priced, just a little :-).

갈비를 $40불정도 받으면서 가격대비 밑반찬도 엉망이고 매니저라고 하는 여자분은 친절한것도 아니고.... 음식 장사는 정성인데 대 실망... 강력 비추!!!!!!!! The BBQ items are way over priced.... Food and customer service so so.. Im not recommended.......

Come here all the time for great jjigae and jeongol. The staff are super nice, and if youre a regular, theyll bring you extra banchan. If you want delicious Korean food, and especially if you want delicious Korean food that isnt just gogi, come here. Also, all of those reviewers complaining about other (Korean) customers being treated better should consider that family restaurants have regulars they see every week or two, and of course those people get friendly, quick service.

Over priced definitely without Groupon. After we finished our lunch there (about $90 total), I leave 15% tip for the waitress not bad not good service, then she came , told us that we should give at least 18% tip to her. So ridiculous! I have never seen such a thing happened in my life before. Customer decide give tips based on your service not what you told. me how much I should give to you!!!! NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

This place seems to be on its last legs, similar to roadkill gasping for its last breath. Theres one server working the entire floor during friday night dinner service. The tabletop grills work, but the light fixtures dont, for that unintentional intimate lighting. The actually isnt bad, but theres only just one server, cooking and beinging food out to the whole place. Even with the groupon, its not worth it.

I used to be a regular, now its too expensive. The weekday lunch buffet was one of my favorites: sushi, tempura, and other great dishes for 11 dollars including a dollar and change for tip. I went there a month ago and noticed they had really expanded their sushi offerings. The problem was that it cost $15 with a little tip. That really pushes it too far for a weekday lunch.

The staffs there are amazing. They were really friendly. The foods tasted terrific. I do feel that the BBQ was a little bit expensive if you are coming with your family. One thing that surprises me is that you have to pay a certain amount of tip there. According to how much your bill is, the tip is depended upon it. However it was a great experience and I would come back.
