Local chain of Jamaican restaurants. This location is not great, just good. And on the expensive side. There are plenty of other Jamaican spots that offer the same food or better for less. Theres a barbecue grill out front, but aside from that, I dont believe the food is cooked on the premises. Likely, its made at another one of their locations and the curries are heated up in the microwave and held at temperature in crock pots or those chafing dishes for hot foods. Theres a small selection of standard Jamaican fare- jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtail, etc, all served with the same sides, whatever they decided to make that day-cabbage, rice, peas and carrots, plantains, etc. I dont think they have any drinks aside from bottled sodas, and when I went, they didnt have Ginger beer, only cream soda.The space is tiny and the person working is very nice. He did pile up the side dishes to overflowing in our container, but $12 for about seven chunks of bony meat hardly makes it worth it. Id rather drive the 10 or 15 minutes to another spot next time.

I am a student from UMBC who is always willing to drive here and pick up food. The university is not very far away but this places speaks levels if I decide to leave an entire campus with multiple food options and decide to primarily dine here. I love the Ox Tail and Jerk Chicken here and the gentleman who runs the business is nothing but friendly. Affordable for the college audience for amazing CARRIBEAN cuisine. The only disadvantage is that I see, is that they are not open on Sundays.

The food is somewhat ok but there is never any food. Everytime I go here no matter the time of day or item(s) this place NEVER has food. Especially Jerk chicken, beef patties and sometimes coco bread. After several times of this, i finally decided its worth driving across town to another place that at least has food available anytime of the day. Beware!

Its like being in Jamaica!! The food is authentic and delicious!! Youll smell the smoke before you get there. Cooks on an open fire in front of the restaurant. This is the best Jerk Chicken Ive ever tasted in the states. I highly recommend it!! And his prices are unbelievably cheap!!!!!

This was my first time here and I ordered a small jerk chicken combo. Being jamaican and a foodie, Im very familiar with the cuisine. This has been one of the best jerk chicken dishes I ever had! I definitely recommend! You will not be disappointed.

The food is not good and has no flavor. Dry rubbed jerk chicken and has no option for extra jerk sauce. The rice and beans are bland. The oxtail have no Caribbean taste to them and the cabbage is too salty. Worst Caribbean food in the city.
