So first I will start by saying this was my first time at this location and my husband had just went there with my daughter 2 days before. The food was good however as many grills like this I have been to I have never been to one where the chefs made the food differently. For example, one chef next to us started cooking vegetables immediately and the chef at my table made them at the very last minute. This is fine for some people, however I will say my veggies were barely cooked and tasted like they were fresh off the grocery store shelf VERY crunchy. Also i was there for the lunch special. So it is about $10 per person. I ordered one for me and one for my husband and nothing but an apple juice for my 2 year old daughter who was sitting in between us. I also ordered a water and my husband ordered an apple juice for himself with our meals. When the drinks came out my husband and daughter had the same size apple juice. When he asked for a larger cup like every other adult at the table they gave him a small wine glass and said you can just pour it in there. The glass was dirty so he decided not to use it and not bother to ask for another one. Then when the food started to be made the chef was doing tricks with the cooking untensils and dropped them 3 times almost hitting us. So once he started cooking he put rice on our plates and gave my daughter rice. I told the chef NO THANKS before he put in on her plate but he insisted. So we assumed he was giving her the extra left because we did not order her anything she was going to share with us. So When the noodles and chicken were made I told him the same thing not to put anything on her plate, maybe he didnt understand me because he didnt speak any English Im not sure but i even used hand movements and he did not say anything back. So we thought maybe he was just giving her the extra because thats what other places have done with the last of the food on the grill, they evenly distribute it. It wasnt as much as we had but it wasnt a little either. Lastly when he did the vegetables I told him NO again and he did not put he plate. After we ate our food we got the check which had 3 meals on it and charges for 2 large apple juices. Immediately, I took this up with the manager that we did not order anything for our daughter. He said we still had to be charged because thats what the server put the order in as 3 meals. I explained to him I would not order a full meal for a toddler and even asked would he order a whole meal for his 2 year old he said YES . He said "she ate it didnt she?" I said no sir its in a to go box if you want to see. I also asked why were we charged $6 for 2 apple juices and the manager said he will fix one since one was for a kid and i said they were the same exact size but he only fixed one and said thats all he could do for me.Long story short I was very disappointed with the communication and management. I will not be going back.

I come here all the time and every last time the food is great but these servers and the manager are all rude as hell! And today im fed up. They rush you to eat by snatching plates and cups off from in front of you while u are still eating. Dont go towards the end of lunch they are even more rude. Dont go close to closing they will snatched the plates up while u are eating and inform you to please hurry because they are closing... rude, right? Their drinks taste like they use gin and generic vodka for everything. Weve ordered patron margaritas and tasted the vodka and they got upset. Weve ordered daquaris and it taste like gin and water with whip cream. But all and all the food preparer and the food is great but the other staff and management treat all customers like hurry up eat and get out! Just extemely rude. They get offended if you dislike anything and tell you that you are only allowed to send back one item. They got one star just because the food is good

This place was pretty good! Our chef was very entertaining; the funniest chef Ive had so far at any hibachi restaurant. He also did a few tricks Ive never seen at a hibachi place before. The prices were affordable for what we ordered. The service was quick, and our waiter was very patient with our large party. My only complaints are about the food. First off, it wasnt the best tasting hibachi Ive had, but it was certainly not the worst! I happily took my leftovers home and cant wait to eat them. The disappointing part was the proportioning. My husband and two of his friends both got a chicken/steak combo. However, his friends received more chicken and steak on their plates as they were served first and my husband last. It was a little frustrating, but nothing to ruin the night. I had two sushi rolls on top of my hibachi meal which were excellent! Fuji Mountain will certainly be a place we visit again; I really enjoyed the visit!

Im a "regular" at this place. I eat there probably 4 or 5 times a week. This restaurant provides outstanding service for the inexpensive prices that you pay. Ive been eating there for about 2 or 3 years. In the entire time that Ive been eating there theyve only screwed up 1 order. How many Asian eateries do you know of that are that precise when taking your order simply because they dont speak the language well enough? Not many. As an African-American I must say that they are serving our neighborhood well. Thats why I always leave them an 18% tip whenever I go in & sitdown & order. Ive eaten at several restaurants on The National Harbor that are much pricier than this restaurant & they dont provide 75% of the quality service or of the quality food these guys provide. I cant knock these guys in any way (I really cant).

I like Sushi, and theirs was pretty good, definitely better than others Ive had at this price. We went on a Sunday, and it was very slow, so we were able to hang out for a while, talking, and they kept bringing us refills, even though wed already paid. The service was decent, but they misunderstood some requests wed made about timing (we wanted an appetizer with dinner, they served it at normal appetizer time). Nothing earth shattering, but something to be aware of. The decor is quite lovely, and the lay-out spacious. Very comfortable, and it looks like they can accomodate some large-ish parties. Overall, I would go there again, if the opportunity arose.

I was really impressed with this restaurant, and sincerely hope that this starts a trend of more restaurants like it in the area. The staff are professional, polite, and conscientious. The prices are equivalent to or cheaper than similar restaurants in other parts of the DC/MD/VA area. Facilities (including public spaces and restrooms) are immaculate, and reflect clear attention to detail. What stands out more than anything else, however, is the food. Quality and taste are a cut (several cuts, really) above comparable restaurants. While there might be better sushi or hibachi in the DC area, there is absolutely nothing comparable in this price range.
