Ive eaten at Kaow Thai 2 or 3 times. Most recently, I ordered Pad Thai with chicken. Thats not a spicy dish, so the flavor comes from the green onions and other veggies. It was quite good. The Thai iced tea was good. Then we shared a dessert, sticky rice with mango, which was yummy and an attractive presentation as you would expect. Another day I enjoyed Massamun Curry at Kaow Thai. That is a mild curry that contains some potato. You cant really see this location from Crain Highway (US 301). You can reach the restaurant from the Walmart, or from Heritage Green Parkway, which intersects US 301 and intersects Washington Avenue a short distance to the east. There is a traffic signal at Heritage Green, which also gives easy access to Wawa across the highway.

We moved to Pax River a few months ago and have been looking for good restaurants in the area. Since we were venturing out to La Plata to see a play, my husband suggested that we try Kaow Thai. To say that it exceeded our expectations is a huge understatement. We ordered a couple of Thai dishes and a few different kinds of sushi and everything we tried was AMAZING. Additionally, our wait staff was extremely warm and accommodating, and the restaurant is a perfect size - not too big, not too small. Simply outstanding!

4th time eating here over a 6 month period, each time the food has been very fresh with great flavor. The shrimp they use are big, not the cheap frozen type and each of my dishes have had fresh herbs. The service has always been good here. This is a little tucked away gem in LaPlata that you should visit!

Small Thai restaurant that does Thai hot right! Well worth the stop to try something different. And, well priced, unlike another Thai restaurant up the road from there that also has good food (at least they did couple of 5 or 7 years ago) but way over priced.

We stopped in kind of randomly while on a road trip from out of state. This place is amazing! We love Thai food and food here was so good and so fresh. What a great find! The service was also great. I would definitely stop here again if I come through.

Truly authentic asian bistro. The soups are amazing and a meal upon themselves. Vet owned with his wifes amazing recipes as the foundation. Eat there, you wont be disappointed. They also serbe sushi and have live music on the weekends.
