We used Sweet Simplici-Tea as the vendor for our wedding, and we were more than impressed and happy with our experience. They did a wonderful job making gorgeous and totally delicious desserts for our wedding. We specifically wanted French Macaroons, and were having a hard time finding anyone who made them, but we stumbled upon Sweet Simplici-Tea right in our backyard, in Sykesville. Jessica made the tastiest, pretties, French Macaroons, Cake Truffles and chocolate covered pretzels for our 140 person wedding. She was so accommodating and friendly during the planning process. We tossed around a lot of flavors and ideas, and had a tasting of lots of things to help decide what we wanted. She also made our cake, which was just beautiful and so tasty, as well. She created a beautiful display of our desserts and was willing to set everything up and take extra time to make it just perfect. I would highly recommend Sweet Simplici-Tea to anyone looking for an awesome pastry chef, and outstanding customer service.

If I could give one star I would. We stopped by the place today during Ice Festival with 2 little kids. Bought juice, cakes, and prepared to sit to eat them all (it was cold outside and no place to sit with kids). VERY rude young man run to us and told us to get out of here. When we delayed (had to put hats and scarfs on kids) he almost grabbed the kids (2 and 4 yo) to kick them out. UNBELIEVABLE! Ive NEVER experienced anything like that before. When we asked why we are treated like that (there were several tables with customers eating) we were told that it was tough day for them and they dont want to sit anyone anymore. NO MORE visits from us and Ill definitely share my experience with everyone I know.! WORST EXPERIENCE in eatery EVER!

Celebrated my adult daughters birthday at Sweet Simplici-tea today. As always, the Royal Tea (appetizer, soup, scone, salad, savory sandwiches and desserts) were absolutely delicious. I had them make a cake and with very little good direction from me, they presented a stunning confectionary. I also had them bake and package 6 cookies each for each of my guests to take home with them. Again - perfection. I have been here many times and would recommend them above all others. Even tho, I live minutes from Ellicott City, the travel to Sykesville is worth it. Joanne Fuller

Robyn and Lisa, the owners of Sweet Simplici-Tea, are marvelous hosts to the best tea experience Ive ever had. I even enjoy coming here with my Dad! My company held a Valentines Day function here and our guests were wowed by the delicious scones, sandwiches and petit fours and the ambience is absolutely perfect for a tearoom. Robyn and Lisas attention to detail is really superb - really a memorable experience that wont soon be forgotten. Thank you ladies so much for the lost art of serving high tea in a way thats elegant and never pretentious! You rock!

A great tea experience! Love the lunch offerings, quiche and excellent chicken salad. The scones are outstanding, its been a long time since Ive found great scones. Make your reservations or you may not find a table.

Went here for my cousins wedding shower. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was superb, and the staff was wonderful. Would definitely go here again given the chance. (P.S: try the Buccaneer tea!)
