This is not a formal type dining establishment. Rather it is a typical "mom and pop" diner style place. The "formal" dining room is well worn and appears rather dated. We ate once in both areas. Having worked in food service many years ago, I ALWAYS check my silverware and the first few plates delivered (coffee saucers, appetizer & bread plates, etc.) and I did NOT find any thing to indicate that the cleanliness corresponds with the aged appearance. Everything was clean. The food was of a typical counter service quality. Not great, but not bad. All in all, a nice little community diner / gathering place. If you are looking for a formal dinner place, look elsewhere. That is not what this place is about.

The best pancakes I have ever had. I dont even typically like pancakes, but I get them from here. The price point is good to. Awesome alternative to chain breakfast joints. My wife and I went here because the Denys down the street had a long wait. We have not stopped going since. Kind of a regular folks atmosphere, so dont come dressed fancy, but the breakfast food is so good. Worth a stop if you enjoy breakfast food like I enjoy breakfast food

Over the last rwo weeks we have ordered.fried chicken and waffles carry-out. The chicken was fried to perfection and seasoned just rjght. we found the chicken a close second to my deceased moms fried chicken. The waffle was light and delicious too. We have also enjoyed eating breakfast in the restaurant as a family group.

Ive been coming here since I was a young child. Its nice to be welcomed by name when I arrive. Feels like home. Amazing breakfast, subs, pizza, mozzarella sticks, and fried chicken.

Great historic icon of Eldersburg. Eat in the coffee shop! Terry and Kim are wonderful waitresses. Inexpensive all American meals. I just love the place.
