Terrible food. Went with several people - all of our food came out bad or mediocre and the price level isnt cheap either. Keep in mind Ive been to diners before, so Im not expecting amazing food. But the IHOP down the road has better tasting and cheaper food than this place (do yourself a favor and go to IHOP instead of you want pancakes/diner food). 1) College Park "SOS" - the chipped beef and gravy with biscuits were terrible. The food was extremely salty and gravy was very mediocre. (Its not hard to make decent gravy) The biscuits were also flat too, as if they didnt add enough baking powder or didnt let it rise properly. The food gave me indigestion as well. 2) Their eggs, sausage, and french toast were mediocre. The sausage was your low quality frozen patty variety while the french toast was soggy with barely any powdered sugar on top. 3) My other friend ordered a burger, and said it was mediocre. Go to 5 guys or even iHOP instead if you want a decent burger. I dont understand why this place has good reviews. The food we had were pretty bad, and most menu items were $9-$11, so its not that cheap either.

Me and my girl friend went out looking for a good local restaurant tonight. We had thought we were in for a good meal, instead it was the WORST FOOD I WE EVER HAD !!!!!! Ive had a culinary arts degree for over 30 years, and next to Bobby flays in college Park, YOU NEED TO CLOSE YOUR DOORS. sorry but we couldnt even eat the whole meal. I had a double burger and fries, and she the cheese burger and fries. NOT Worth the $ 20 dollars. We would bring the left overs back for the dog, BUT I love the dog to much !!! We both got home and threw up the food. And to add insult to it, we had to wait 20 minutes for the food !!! She still gave them a tip. HERES A TIP FOR YOU. !!!!! DRIVE BYE AND DONT STOP IF LIKE YOUR STOMACH !!!!

Totally AMAZING my sister had the pancakes and she let me try a bite lets just say Im SURPRISED Im alive right now because I felt like I DIED and went to HEAVEN right then and there! There service is okay there not exactly mean but there not exactly kind there more of a normal. Like they dont take the time to ask how you are or where were from if weve been here before to show us some things that are good. But other than that you HAVE to come here you!!!

College Park Diner is truly one of those diners whose rundown atmosphere contribute to its authenticity. The food is fast, cheap, and tasty. Its a no-frills setting and while some things do cost more than youd expect, the place is cheap overall. I wish you could get different types of waffles or pancakes (i.e. chocolate chip, blueberry, etc.) as its not offered. The staff is friendly and though seating is limited and getting old, its good enough. Id come here for a quick bite but if you want a diner with some more choice and a bit higher of a standard, Id head over to Silver Diner on 193.

Es un agradable lugar, un poco altos los precios para el sitio, pero la comida es deliciosa y la atención es muy buena. Lo recomiendo si es muy tarde y quieres algo diferente a hamburguesas y demás... puedes desayunar en la cena si lo deseas.

All ways a great late night dinner or early morning breakfast here at College Park Diner. Another one of those consistent quality food experiences. The service is good and food is especially good. Its all good. Especially the steak, the hot chocolate, waffles, french toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns too. All good. Im about to get a milkshake. No, a banana split. There is money from all over the world, all over the wall. Come see Chrissy. Excellent service.

The food is good However. I keep finding hair on my food. Its a skinny spanish lady that works there is keeps touching people food with her bare hands. Wiping it on her dirty apron and also touching the draws and cabinets with the same hand she touches people food with. Then she was a server at that!! and also on the cash register. Please use gloves. Next time im recording it with my phone and sending it to the health department. Smh nasty!!

Only all night restaurant in the University of Maryland immediate vicinity. Very good breakfast; quick turnaround, even if it is busy (unless a waitperson did not show); cheap prices (e.g., two eggs, two bacon, two pancakes special for under $4); kept clean. Ask for Thelma! As for the decor, come on --its a diner. (Turns out they recently cut back the hours to 5:30 AM - Midnight.) (So now they have thankfully resumed 24 hr service.)

I walked in to get food and stood there for 5 minutes at the counter waiting for one of the three people right there to greet me or offer a menu and all three of them looked at me repeatedly and never addressed me so I walked out. As far as Im concerned thats poor customer service and Im amazed at an establishment that hires people with no customer service capabilities. Absolute disappointment. I would give less stars if I could.

Great little diner. Ate here early on a Sunday morning - no wait and very quick friendly service. Had my meal about 5 minutes after I ordered. Wonderful fluffy buttermilk pancakes, eggs just like I ordered, the bacon couldve been crispier but was still hot and good. Even ordered a to go cinnamon roll for my husband. Couldve been about $2-3 less overall, but still not expensive.

If you like Greasy Spoons, youll love this place. Ive had a little bit of everything: the burgers (mediocre, but delicious), the omelettes (yes, breakfast is what they do best), french toast (doesnt get much better), and even gone in for a cinnamon roll and a coke one late evening (so.much.butter.) Overall, worth a visit if the 50s heart attack is your thing like it is mine.

Weve been going here for any years and still call it by the old name, Barnside. This is a classic diner experience. The food is great, the service is personal and exceptional, the prices are very reasonable. The waffles are the standard by which all other waffles are measured. If you havent been here, treat yourself. If you have, you already plan to come back.

I am disappointed that I had food poisoning from patty melt...had bad vomiting and diarrhea...have been sick since last Saturday...left my message for the manager yesterday and never call back since now I had to call the manager...how rude...smh...I strongly encouraged all of us to not come to the college park diner!

Horrible food, indifferent service. My wife and I ate here when we first moved to Maryland, before we found out how terrible Maryland service is. We were looking for a nice little diner that wasnt a chain restaurant. Alas, food tasted cheap and nasty. Though we were the only customers, the waitress kept us waiting.

The T-bone steak is great! Remember to ask for A1 sauce. There is nothing better than a T-bone steak after a busy week! They are even open around 3am Saturday morning! I suddenly have the feeling of home the moment I entered the diner, after staying late Friday night and starving around 3 am Saturday morning.
