Mi La Cay is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The food is delicious and you always leave satisfied! They have so many different types of noodle and rice dishes. Their menu is pretty huge so I have yet to try everything. So far, Ive had the normal beef pho, Pho La Cay (P10, which is my favorite so far. It is a spicy beef noodle soup), and Mi Bo Sate (M10). The broth for the noodle soups are always aromatic and flavorful. These big bowls of noodle are great for the cold weather! As for the rice dishes, Ive only had the fan favorite, Crispy Maryland Chicken (R1). Its Viet style fried chicken over tomato flavored rice. The chicken had a nice crispy skin and the meat was juicy and tender. It went well with the tomato rice. My friend always enjoys the two pork chop over rice. They also have banh mi! They serve bubble tea and smoothies. I always get the avocado smoothie. Its creamy and delightful. The restaurant is a normal sized restaurant and is pretty popular. Ive never had any issues getting a table. I cant wait to return! *Plenty of parking and they take credit card.

Their variety, quality and consistency of both food and service is on a very sophisticated level. Their Vietnamese noodle soups are very tasty and the specialty noodle soups are spectacular, especially curry vermicelli and Bun Bo Hue. Rice dishes with grilled meats are not easy to find in typical Vietnamese places, but they carry quite a bit of them. And to be able to cook rice dish well without having to wait for a long is rare in itself. Traditional Vietnamese dessert drinks are also available, they used to serve the Longan drink which is wonderfully balanced too but recently not so much. Limited beer choices, but you still have them there which would go really well with both grilled meats and noodle soup. Location is convenient and the parking lot has reasonable spaces, use the back side as well if front side facing 193 is filled up. Highly recommended!

Great prices for the amount of food they give. I ordered the vermicelli noodles and was surprised to get the same, if not more, amount of food as other Vietnamese restaurants but for $2 less. BF got the porkchop with rice and meatloaf combo. We also shared a ban xeo as an app. It was my first time trying it so I wasnt sure what it should taste like but there was a sour aftertaste to it. Couldve been the beansprouts. Overall, I enjoyed the food and prices. Nothing too spectacularly memorable of a place, but will more than likely be back to try other dishes

Banh Mi! Everything else looks great also, especially the pho! Been back several times since and I can say the pho is good, but their other soups are even better. I was particularly taken with the giant bowl of spicy beef soup -- they are not kidding about spicy! The summer rolls are good, as is the Vietnamese (French) iced coffee. I have to imagine the rice plates and things like that are great, but I rarely eat rice dishes when out, as if just eating noodles and rice only at home keeps the carbs out of my diet.

BEST VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT IN THE DMV AREA! You have to get the bun bo hue if you come here. Just try it. Its so good. Ive been here twice with my girlfriend and weve tried several menu items, and theyve all been good. The service is quick. Lastly, its so inexpensive! We always end up ordering an appetizer, tea, thai teas, and mains for two and it comes out to less than $30 each time. Come give it a try, and if for some reason you dont like it, at least you wont have spent so much money on it.

Everything is great here! The pho is delicious and can be made with a variety of broths--even vegetarian. Noodle dishes are terrific. And when youre finished eating, you have to try the fried ice cream. Its a lot different than the kind you get at a Mexican restaurant. Excellent food and friendly staff make this a must-try.

This place is OK, not the greatest. Not sure why this place is so popular. I got the lemongrass chicken dish here. It had a weird taste to it- like it had gone a little sour. The chicken was also rubbery. I tried the pho broth which was decent. I might try it one more time, but I dont see what the hype is all about.

Love this place the best Vietnamese food in Md. food always comes out quickly, seasoned very well and priced fairly. There is plenty of parking in the front, back and street. I always order their Bun Bo Hue, tomato chicken with rice, summer rolls with vermicelli, and the bubble tea.

Everything was delicious. The food was fresh and hot when it arrived at the table. This restaurant does pho and main dishes equally well. I would have given five stars if my iced coffee had been stronger, with less ice, and if there had been more time between appetizers and entrees.

Best Vietnamese food in Montgomery Cty & DC. Delicious signature noodle dish. Excellent roasted quail. Pho the way it should be. All items except for the red rice are yummy. The couple owners are friendly, good people. My favorite VN restaurant in Maryland by far.

I came this place twice only, but I like the noodle soups. Great flavors and great services are the most important things to go to. Do not forget to order the fried quills. They are crunchy and great taste. Parking might be a little tight if you go around 6 ~7pm.

Hands down one of my favorite pho places simply because they have their own signature pho dish called pho la cay which automatically distinguishes them from the rest (also its delicious and my favorite) their other entrees are very very good as well.

Wonderful pho. Delicious broth. Their fresh summer rolls tend to fall apart easily. Their vermicelli dishes are great. One of the best and most popular pho restaurants in the area, so it can be crowded. Parking spaces are scarce during lunch time.

Great Vietnamese food, nice friendly staff, quick service and they even have my favorite, Thai bubble tea! You can even sometimes find your favorite sweet rice and other homemade bakery items like the sticky green rice treats!

Good, authentic Vietnamese food. Clean place and not bad prices. Their tasty meats never overcooked and their marinaded pork & beef are in the sweeter side. Though I wish bigger portions like with Chinese restaurants.

One of Wheatons best run eateries. The staff are courteous, the food is delicious, generously portioned and very nicely priced. They serve good Vietnamese beer too. If you like pho, its very much recommended.

I got the duck noodle and when it arrive the duck tasted old and not fresh. They served me bones. I dont see any meat and it is a false advertisement from the picture they provided. Never returning.

Every time I come to the DMV area, I always have to come here to get the Maryland chicken. They must put crack or something in it because I always have to have it at least once!

This place offers the best Pho soup in DC area together with other great dishes. Papaya salad is a must to try. Service is very good, fast. And the prices are very cheap.
