Surprise Surprise - a new management and excellent results! Everything I had was tasty and hot; Service - quick and very polite. I was very satisfied. My wife enjoyed the experience too. But she would give "only" four stars. She also usually does not care enough for Indian food. So, four stars from her for Indian food is a very good sign of a very good food! I started with Mulligatawney Soup - A traditional hearty soup, rich, with subtle tastes, prepared with tiny chicken pieces which added but did not dominate the taste. The taste, in order of significance, was a mixture of spices, chicken, and chickpea flour, and it was delicious! As an appetizer, my wife had two pieces of Vegetable Somosa - a pastry stuffed with spiced potatoes and peas; I had one piece. Once more, a surprising joy to the palate. For the entree I had Baigan Bharth a, tandoori roasted eggplant, cooked with Indian spices, tomatoes and onions. It came as if the eggplant was ground tightly together with the other vegetables and spices. Combined with rice that came on a separate plate, it was Yummy. The eggplant was there but did not dominate the taste. Again, it was the balanced combination of tastes that made it so delicious. I tasted my wifes Tandoori Shrimp, which came on a bed of slightly spiced onions and peppers and I loved it. For desert we shared the sweet Gulab Jamun which I liked a lot. The Masala tea went perfectly with the Jamun. I will come again!

Have eaten twice here. First time at buffet, and ordered entree and sides the second time. Tandoori chicken in buffet was very dry and disappointing. However, the buffet selection offered plenty more dishes from which to choose. Naan was fantastic! During the second visit, my lamb entree was perfect, aside from the fact it had not been kept warm after cooking. It was room temp when served, as was the rice. The water served was tepid; I had to ask for ice in our glasses. The raita I ordered was absolutely soupy liquid; this was not made properly. Again, the naan was great! Liked the overhead Indian music, but had to request it twice on second visit. My friends buffet Tandoori chicken appeared dry, but they were happy with the selection at the buffet. Servers were very congenial and attentive, but Im not sure they understood the English spoken to them. Decor is very clean, spare and pleasant. Napkins were beautifully laundered. One of my companions said, "This place is a jewel!" I will try it again.

We ordered some take out food tonight from Om. I would like to thank Louis (I think he is the restaurant owner) for the delicious food, for being very courteous and patient as we hesitated on the choice of dishes, for his excellent advice and for some side dishes which he offered for free to welcome us to his restaurant. What a breath of fresh air to deal with someone who understands the restaurant business very well and for whom the customer satisfaction is a paramount objective. The chicken tikka masala, the lamb and other dishes were just perfect - freshly made, very well seasoned and so tasty! We are very happy that we discovered this authentic Indian gem in our neighborhood. Thank you Louis for our fantastic culinary experience. We will certainly be back and will recommend your restaurant to our friends and family. Anna

I am very picky with my indian food and could never find a decent Indian restaurant that I would love to re-visit. However, India Grill surpassed all my expectations!! The buffet is not spicy but still flavorful, the entrees are prepared perfectly with impeccable taste and the service is great!! I have been there so far 10 times within the past three months (3 times with bosses, 3 times with clients, and once with my husband) and never once was I disappointed!! (neither was my company!!) There are other indian restaurants along rt 355 which do not even compare!! And not to mention, the prices are unbelievably reasonable!! In conclusion, this place is AMAZING!! Quick service, great prices, superb food.

My wife and I eat here pretty regularly and we have always found the staff to be extremely friendly and attentive. Its a small staff, so patience may be required on busy nights; though that has never interfered with our experiences there. The food, while perhaps not "authentic" as other commenters have said, is delicious, satisfying, comforting, diverse, and full of flavor. Its hard to argue about authenticity - having had jewish grandmothers instead of Indian ones, but its impossible to argue about presence of tasty flavor and India Grill has that by the tons. Order off the menu and leave the buffet to the others. Fresh cooked dishes come quickly and piping hot.

This place must close down. This was the worst dining experience of my life. The owner and his staff are the rudest people I had ever encountered. The waiter was rude and had no clue what he is doing. The owner was much worst. He came to our table and after I explained different issues with our waiter, he started bragging that he has been in this business for over 30 years and is the most successful restaurant owner!! No apologies, no listening, nothing... WOW. Food was tasteless, and meat quality was horrible. Save your time and money, and visit any other one of the many excellent restaurants in the area.

My wife and friends and I have started going to this place fairly regularly. The menu is excellent but Im addicted to the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and really order little else when I go. Its a cozy spot with great service. Whats fascinating to me is that despite a new and thriving city center, the corner of this strip mall is rocking on a weekend. (Odd as it may sound, the restaurants here are almost certainly superior to RTC -- or maybe that doesnt sound unusual in this day and age.) Five stars. Outstanding dining experience.

I recently went there with my parents and loved the food. The buffet was extraordinary because it had many different choices that will satisfy anyones taste. We had also ordered a spicy Chicken Tikka from their menu, it was on point. The spiciness was perfect and the seasoning was good. The waiters were very friendly and were active. The restaurant was also very decorative with paintings on the walls and a flat screen at the front to attract customers. I would say one of the best indian food i have had in a while.

Just awesome. After the name and management change, its a complete 180 turn. They dont have buffet, but dont let that fool you. Their pick 3 option is cheaper($9) comes with naan and rice too. and quality 5 star. Even the quantity is good. We came hungry and still had to box pack a full box. The food is really tasty, even better than the bland and horrible buffet at spice xing in rockville. Will definitely go again with family and office colleagues. Great addition near work place.

I went with my girl friend for the lunch buffet. The food was below average, there was a fly at the buffet area, and the price is outrageous (12 freaking dollars) for a lunch buffet. I have tried other Indian restaurants and this one ranked the lowest in terms of food. I highly dont recommend this "Indian Grill", I should have stayed home and just eaten my Lean Cuisine.
