Went to eat for a colleagues birthday. When the waitress took our order, she did not write anything down, so I assume her memory is that good with 5 different orders. When she returned, she forgot a drink someone ordered, she substituted an order of turkey bacon with an order of turkey sausage (they were out of bacon) but failed to tell the person who ordered it that they were 1) out of the turkey bacon and 2) that she was going to substitute it. Two people substituted eggs for grits, and one person still got eggs. So mistakes like that. AND THEN, we go to pay for the check, gratuity is already included. One of my colleagues asks the manager how many people at a table for gratuity to be added and he said SEVEN, it was FIVE of us. So this waitress tried to get over on us by ALSO including her tip?!?!?!? NEVER again will I EVER go to this RESTAURANT!! If you decide to go, please check your receipt, it could only two of you, but youll get charged gratuity.

I use to live going there for two reasons. I loved their liver, but then they stopped preparing it. The next best thing was their fried chicken. Roy Rogers chicken use to be the best in Baltimore, and i never tasted any other as good until IHOP started carrying fried chicken, believe me when I tell you it was good. I know chicken because it is the only meat I eat, and fish sometimes . (Very rarely do I eat other meat, except on my birthday when I tried ribs). IHOP chicken reminded me of Roy Rogers, so you can not begin to imagine my disappointment when last week i had a taste for IHop chicken and it tasted so horrible, as if it was double fried the succulent taste I was use to was not there, it was tough. Bcuz of that and no liver there is no reason for me to go to IHop again. I was so unsatisfied I call and spoke to the manager, his response was they changed supplier.

So I decided to try IHOP for my birthday breakfast this year because Dennys is all the way across town from me now. Dennys has a free breakfast for you on your birthday. All you have to do is show your ID. Well, IHope has it too so I was like, cool, I will go there. Well, you have to sign up for the club, which I did and then I went. When I asked about the free breakfast, the server said, no, you just get ice cream. I pulled up the website and she went to get the manager. The manager said I had to print something out to get the birthday breakfast. Im like, really?? I have my license to prove it. Its only me. I told him about Dennys policy and he just shrugged it off. Wow...the food better be good.

What can I say. They sat us down and no one knew who was supposed to be waiting our table. Deshawn came over to make sure we were ok and when he realized we didnt have a server he simply volunteered. The amount of professionalism from this gentleman was astonishing. I was heavily impressed with his performance, etiquette, skill, and poise. By the end of our breakfast I had what one would refer to as an "experience". With someone as helpful and Awesome as Deshawn it will be hard to go back and not request him again. Hes all I can remember about the entire visit. I wish ihop would go back to the restaurant style checkout. The checkout part of the visit was my least favorite.

I started going to this location earlier this year after having avoided going because of all the horror stories Id heard and read. The Service has apparently improved dramatically, as Ive never waited longer than 15 minutes for food even when the place was packed. The wait staff is polite and attentive, the bathrooms are clean, and even the music selection (oldies) is decent. Ive never had a messed up order or messed up food and I was told right away if theys run out of something that Id ordered. Theyve also extended their hours and now open at 6 am. The dining room fills up fast on Saturday and Sunday mornings and the optimal times to go is before 8am and after 4pm.

First of all whoever Eliot is, youre wasting precious valuable time that you could be using making your life happy instead of hating on the African American Community. Get a life! Second, to address this Ihop restaurant ... Ive eaten here twice and both times the servers took way too long bringing back food. Not to mention they werent even crowded. And the bathrooms are disgusting!!! I have already called the health department. This restaurant has been shut down once or twice before. Not sure as to why but they need to shut it down again! Such ashame though...the next closest Ihop is out Reisterstown, MD...longer drive but better service.

Well with service this poor the food has no chance. Arrived today at 7:15 and was seated right away and we were the only customers in sight. With no request for drinks we started waiting with our 18 month old. 15 minutes later 3 wattresses arrived and started talking at the register. Another 15 mins later (after 30 mins total) we still had not had anyone approach us for drinks or our order and left. 30 mins to serve you only customer with 3 waitress standing around is ridiculous.

The customer service at the Randallstown IHOP is lacking. I had 3 different issues at three different times. The female manager, I believe she is the assistant manager has a smart mouth and does not effectively de-escalate escalations. Made a complaint with the GM in person and will be writing corporate regarding the issue of being overcharged and poor customer service on a managerial level. Completely unacceptable and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Service is always horrible here. But I still enjoy Ihop food. Most of the time I order and pick it up because the servers dont write down orders majority of the time when ur dining in and forget parts of it so u end up waiting 15 additional minutes for a side item. The FOH staff is rude. So if ur looking for a pleasant place to eat with an overall good atmosphere, this is NOT the place to go.

Came around 9 PM on a Saturday. Not many people were there. Most other times like earlier in the day itll usually be more crowded. Service was great. Our waiter Kieth (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) gave us great service. The meals were great and I had an amazing overall experience. I think if you come when its less crowded youll probably have a better experience as well.

Lydia has been my server for the last few years and she is amazing. She makes me feel like family. Always knows what I want and the food is always fast to the table and delicious. The owner of this IHOP is a great guy as well. Friendly and takes care of his customers. I never go to any other IHOP but this one. Whenever you go ask for Lydia. She works Wed - Sun.
