My family started eating at Pizza Oven in Rockville when it opened in the 1950s. I can never forget eating it at my grandparents house growing up. We never had pizza from anywhere else. Unfortunately, the Rockville location closed years ago. Recently my brother did a search and found this location. The pizza was exactly as we remembered it! Came out piping hot, only fresh ingredients, and tasted delicious. The pizza is square just like Ledos but tastes even better. The service was awesome. Everyone was as friendly as can be. If you are looking for a new pizza spot this is it.

Had a meatball & cheese sub. If the roll had been any smaller it would have been a dinner roll. Sauce had way too much oregano. Fries were very good. A worker was told to sweep the floor and clean a large tab in middle. He only made a small attempt at cleaning the table. Swept the floor around the table then left the pile of waste just laying in the middle of the floor. Do not think I will be bac. What a shame I used to love that sandwich.

I like their pizza. Few things I dont like are the way it smells in there. The ventilation is terrible. You will walk out smelling like grease. The decor is old and tacky. Also I had to bring to the cashiers attention that every one of their parmesan cheese containers had mold in them. They were sitting on the tables like that. Yuck.

Service friendly. Place seemed clean. Ordered a steak sub to go. Girl handed me the bag and it felt empty. The bag probably weighed more than the sub did. My steak sub was one slice of steakum meat folded onto itself. Most unsatisfying steak sub ever. I couldve eaten 4 of those things.

Ive always loved Pizza Oven, so much I got a job there in high school at a different location. Pizza oven is currently closed due to having to move to a new location, but should be reopening soon. Ill be first in line when it does.

Best local pizza, and a pillar of the small business community for just about all of the 40 years I have been alive. Family run, friendly, and the freshly baked pizza smell that hits you when you walk in the door is legendary.

Snow Megaton 2016, 4:30pm called in a Family size (biggest they have) the business stayed open till I got there very impressed. I bet daily service rules , the Pizza was great, got sausage and extra cheese .
