The staff has always been very nice and accommodating but the food is just average overall. Some meals are better, some worse. Lots of the basic tomato sauces are quite plain, not rich or deep at all. Eggplant parmesan isnt very flavorful, same with a few of their chicken dishes. Alfredo is also not up to par (not that Alfredo should be a measure of a real Italian place anyway). Side salads still use plain flavorless iceberg lettuce, although they do add olives, peppers, and mushrooms to the side salads which is nice. Been going there infrequently since they opened, about 10 years ago, and Ive realized many of the dishes just feel like theyre missing something...on the verge of being really good but somehow fall short. Pizza is quite good though. My only definite recommendation is to skip the pasta fagioli. Its the weakest recipe of that soup Ive ever had and is more like bland bean soup with a little carrot and miscellaneous pasta pieces tossed in. I gave it two chances over a couple months and that soup just isnt very good. Overall the place is worth trying but dont expect anything amazing.

Took my family here after my granddaughters dance recital-6 people, so its going to be a rather large tab-so Im calling you out Kylie as I am pretty sure youve been a waitress there for a while. This was a Sunday evening, and it was not super busy, but she forget several things-had to keep asking her for them (saw her write down our order), we asked for bread 3 xs (still never got it)- and worst part was that my daughter had a 10 inch hair in her $17 salad, and the waitress ask, "Do you want another salad"? Seriously? And automatically I would assume not to be charged for this salad but I still was, and my daughter had to sit there and watch all of us eat because this restaurant cant prepare another salad fast enough. That was the worst $160 I ever spent. Very disappointed in the place. We havent been there for a while, and I remembering why.

I went there on 8/24/11 for a birthday dinner. There was 25 in our party. The eggplants parmesan that I got was the worst I have ever eaten! The eggplants was soggy and had almost no flavor. My husband got spaghetti with meet sauce. He said the same. No flavor. A lot of others got pizza and said it was excellent. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was great. I just wish the food was better. This was the second time I was disappointed in the food, I dont think I will go back.

We have tried to give ML multiple attempts to fulfill our Italian cravings, and each time they have dropped the ball. I will admit that they have great pizza, but their dinner options are more disgusting than Chef Boyardee! Each visit my wife and I could only take a few bites of our supposed "fine Italian cuisine" before it felt like we have consumed the entire contents of a salt shaker. Do not waste your hard earned money at this fake Italian establishment.

We used to eat at ML often. Opted for carryout because we had holiday company in town and wanted a decent pizza. Ordered supreme pizza and got vegetarian, pizza came out of the oven 15 minutes later than committed and pizza was cold, calamari prepared 20 minutes earlier than pizza and they were cold and rubbery. Not a good experience - will lay off ML for a while.

Their calzone is the BEST!!! I love their white pizza too! Their greek salad is also wonderful! Im not big on pastas so I dont have much to say about that. Carlie in their Dunkirk location is always warm and welcoming. Ive only been into the Prince Frederick location for pickup but they are always friendly.

Italian food is great for the most part. Dont expect large portions. Pizza is by far the best in the area. Have had excellent service and really poor service - really depends on who you get for the wait staff. I would make it a point to visit one of their two locations and at least try their food.

OK this place used to be delicious AND affordable.. I dont knitwear happened. They got rid of the lower priced dishes and jacked up process for everything else. The service and food tasted The same as last two times Ive been here so why am I paying more? Not bad if you have extra $$

The worst house salad ever. Ridiculously over priced. The pasta tasted good but it was not worth $16! It was just pasta, sauce and cheese. We will never go back here again. What a waste of money. No wonder the restaurant was mostly empty and staff was just standing around!

Mamma Lucia Italian Restaurant is great. Prices are somewhat reasonable, because youre getting good food. Everything Ive had there is pretty good, and I have not had 1 bad thing on the menu yet. Lots of menu options. Waiters are friendly. Their commercial is cringe.

I usually enjoy Italian because its full of flavor. Here though everything was so tasteless and bland I couldnt eat more than a couple bites. The only reason Im giving two stars is that the staff was friendly and gave prompt service. Ill never eat here again.

Ate dinner there last night. Specials board didnt denote that the special would cost $25. My tortellini was tasteless & drowned & dripping in oil. Have never paid over $2 for a soda before. Meal was certainly not worth the $60 we paid for it. Wont be back.

This is the worst experience i have ever had at store in my life. They refused to sell me beer because my 27 old friend didnt have her I.D. But she wasnt buying. I was buying it. She wasnt even touching it. Horrible costomer service

There pizza and ceaser salads are the only things worth going there for... the chicken in there pasta dishes is chewy and dry... service is okay but inconsistent... and the owner is not the friendliest!!

Just great, great pizza. There pastas are amazing, with perfect, zesty sauces. The kids meals are huge, but it is a little quiet for children. Really good Italian beer, too. Id recommend it to anyone.

Pretty and clean. Service was good, food amounts were generous but nothing special. We did not order pizza but pasta dishes. The calamari was bland and chewy but the dipping sauce was good.

Best Italian restaurant in the area. Pizza is wonderful. Featured items are imaginative and delicious. Carbonara is heavenly. Wait staff is friendly, but the food is what stands out here.
