I just went there with my husband. We ordered papaya salad, crispy calamari, drunken noodles, and sizzling beef. The papaya salad was missing 3 important ingredients, dried shrimps, thai pepper and green beans. The crispy calamari was actually fried squid. The drunken noodles was really bad, the flavor was not good and the presentation was not very appetizing. There was only few slices of green and red bell pepper, and some minced chicken place on the over cooked and bland rice noodles. The sizzling beef was overdone. This restaurant didnt meet my expectations, and I probably wont try again.

We had been there several times in the past, and had fairly good service, though we had sensed a decline. Our waitress this time seemed to have some sort of attitude, and did just the minimal to get us our food. She seemed put off to answer any specific questions about the special, or available wines. My husband said the restroom was dispicable. The place was cold, and there were only two others there the whole time we were having dinner. I think they mean well, but I feel they may be struggling.

My sister and I just ate at Emerald Thai Cuisine for the first time. The food was incredible, and the environment was very friendly and welcoming. There are lots of vegetarian options, that can easily be made vegan. I highly recommend their pad thai, and spring rolls! And for all the hungry vegetarians and vegans out there, the tofu is incredibly well done (literally the best Ive ever had). Well be back every year while were in town!

great authentic thai food.... can get anything thai hot or not spicy but always delicious! their portions are huge, most dinner entrees enough to split between two people but you wont want to because youll want to eat it all yourself. also very convenient that you can order take out and eat at your house. i would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food at good prices.

If you stay in Williamsburg and need a little break from everything colonial, this is the place to go! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is calm and quite. The service is quick and attentive to your needs. They are very friendly. The waitress even took time to show me how to make the little paper roses she decorated our straws with!

I am a Williamsburg local and consider this the best Thai in town. Like many things from the menu. Tom Kha soup, Panang curry, Yum Woon Sen (bean thread noodles), Papaya and shrimp salads, Wild Emerald with pork. Crispy whole fish wok-fried with a chili basil sauce is a treat. Nasty, Avoid!! I went there for lunch and ordered Tom Kha soup and beef salad - both Nasty! The soup was leftover from who knows how many days and the beef salad had these slices of some beef jerky product that was hard to chew. Nothing Fresh at all. Maybe I got there at the wrong time - I dont know and I dont care to find out.

Every time I call this restaurant to place a delivery order, they say "we dont deliver on (insert day here)" for whatever day I call. When I tell them I always have a problem getting them to deliver, they tell me that they do deliver, just not right now. So, basically, they lie when they say that they deliver.

Ive been going here for five years. Hands down the best Thai restaurant on this side of the water. Friendly and attentive staff in a beautifully decorated dining room. If you want a delicious meal I highly recommend Emerald Thai. Food and drink prices are reasonable which makes this a great spot for any budget!

Mediocre. Not bad but not great. Red curry was a bit thin and watery, a bit bland compared to red curry from preferred Thai places in past. Wife got her normal pad Thai and said it was "ok". Friends yellow curry was same complaint, thin/watery and bland. Better than fast food at least though.

Delicious food..chill atmosphere. Nice for lunch. But much better dine-in. First visit was great, but followed up with a to-go order a few weeks later. Was told itd be a little longer wait, about 25 to 30 min. My husband got there about 45min later and no one knew of our order. Disappointed

Friendly service and no wait on a Thursday afternoon at 4pm. I ordered the red curry and it was pretty thin and watery but well seasoned. The hot spices were in a small container on the side so that I could season the curry to my desired level of hotness. Much appreciated.

The best Thai food in Williamsburg. We stop here every time we pass through. The restaurant is classy but family friendly. The pad Thai and curries are wonderful. Dont forget to try one of their signature dishes you wont be disappointed. The staff is kind and very helpful.

The flavor of my curry was simply delicious. I made a point to have my first bite be plain rice, and I thought it was quite good. Service was a little slow but the food came out fast once I put my order in.

The food here was awesome!! Ive been all around the States, and Emerald Thai is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants Ive eaten in. I especially recommend the pineapple fried rice--ask for it spicy!
