My husband and I thought we would try dinner here for the first time and sadly it will also be our last. The waitresses didnt know what tables others food was going to and stated so loudly (not very professional) and I understand the confusion because I was a waitress myself. My husband and I both ordered appetizers and they only told me that they were out of breaded mushrooms (my appetizer) after they brought out my husbands mozzarella sticks, I wanted to order a different appetizer but after she set the mozzarella sticks down she quickly walked away, never asking if I would like to order something else in its place. They were hard and were stuck together, they were cooked this way. We were supposed to get rolls and butter included but our waitress (Jodie) had to later ask us if we wanted some. She had a very thick accent and was quiet and hard to understand. When she brought our food out she didnt know who ordered what and firmly pulled my plate out of my hand as she second guessed herself if it was mine or my husbands order. She checked with us once after our food was given to us. I needed a drink refill and she was nowhere to be found nor was the only other waitress working. They were visibly understaffed. She put the check on the table while passing by, not uddering a word. When we finished eating we waited 15 minutes for her to return to ask for boxes, when she was nowhere in sight again my husband just went and paid for our meals. When she came back into the dining area I was seated alone and only then did she ask if I wanted boxes. She never offered us dessert and I really wanted some, but by the end of the meal was too frustrated to stay in there any longer. Would not recommend. Will not go back.

My parents live at the village and drive by every time we visit. Seemed like it was a busy place. Decided to go for an early Mothers Day lunch with my brother and sister in law. Several of the coffee cups were dirty (one had lipstick stains on the rim). Wife really enjoyed her crab cakes and sister in law had the broasted chicken. Four of us had the reuben which was disappointing. I dont think the sauerkraut was drained since all of our sandwiches were soggy on the bottom. They were falling apart and my Mom had to use a fork and a knife. They were made on white bread instead of rye and the meat was chewy and not very tasty. Dont think well be back.

The menu caters to local comfort foods. Other than that, it is extremely limited. The breakfast food is simple, but tasty. Dont expect a wide variety of specialty omelets, but the sides are very good, especially the potato cakes. There is a limited breakfast menu available from 11 to early afternoon. Dinner and lunch selection is very limited, and targeted to people who grew up in Lancaster County and (like many people here) prefer to eat from the stereotypical PA Dutch menu.

one of the worst breakfast since l have been traveling, the toast was cold and soggy, potatoes were also under cooked and cold, the gravy was the worst l ever had reminded me of campbells cream of chicken straight out of the can barely warmed up. the only redeeming part is the scrapple and eggs were cooked as l requested. waitress ask me how everything was but l could tell after l told her about the gravy that she really didnt care.

Best customer service ever! My wife and I were in town for a baseball tournament. We stopped in during a rain delay with little time to have a sit down breakfast. The hostess was totally accommodating and got us seated at the counter. We were served in less than 5 minutes! We were back in our seats ready for the games to start (I am the official scorekeeper). Thanks to their hospitality, felt like a VIP !

Delicious home cooked meals, Turkey dinner and Roast beef dinner are my favs. My mom loves the seafood and says the apple fritters are just like her mom used to make. The apple dumplings when in season are the best we have ever had...Always a pleasure eating here!!! . Always friendly smiles on the waitresses ....And..my car has been there many many times :-)

Just wanted to say that this was a nice experience. It is rare to go out for a dinner and actually enjoy the food and atmosphere, but this was our first time trying Country Meadows (Eliz. Pa) and the food was good, the service was pleasant, and I also really appreciated the Christian music playing in the background. Thank You!

Weve eaten at Country Meadows several times but the last time we ate there, we were quite disappointed. My wife ordered a hot dog and when it came to our table, it was cut in half and each half was inserted into a small dinner roll. Are you kidding me? A dinner roll? You cant afford hot dog rolls?

I never thought it was possible to go to a restaurant and have bad service AND two bad sandwiches!nothing was cut right for the sandwich.Each bite you took there was something hanging from your mouth attached to the sandwich!So dont bother spending your time and money eating here!!!

I have nothing but praise for this wonderful restaurant. The food is always good and the owner and her staff have always treated me with kindness and treat me like I was family. I highly recommend Country Meadows. You wont be treated nicer and the food is wonderful.

I have stopped coming here as much because I do not think the food is as high quality as it should be a few times it was under cooked however my parents love it here so to each there own I come from time to time but its not like it used to be

Cozy quite atmosphere with Great food and coffee! It is an excellent place to meet friends or hold dinner meetings. Their menu offers an wide variety of options for all tastes. And the staff is wonderful.

Pathedic. This is a restaurant that opens and closes purely as it pleases. I live next door and it really is amazing how upset customers get coming here. Never see the same car twice though!!

They put you in a back room when theres no more space out front and pretty much forget about you. If youre lucky enough Tuesday in the front, then you have great service.
