What a disappointment!!! And I cant stress "disappointment!!!" enough. Rated at "4.1 by 163 reviewers", food wise, this to me could not have been further from the truth. My wife and I ordered two (2) entrees, the Bison Burger and the Billys Three Pint Pasta. Lets start with Billys Three Pint Pasta, if you washed away the sauce, all you would be left with is bland pasta, shrimp, chicken, sausage and a bunch of what seem to be canned/frozen vegetables. I managed to eat less than a quarter of what was presented to me and that was more than enough to turn me off to this dish. Maybe this was a decent dish when Billy first created it, but no longer. If they were trying to achieve what use to be horrible British food they succeeded. As for my wifes burger, it was prepared fairly decently, but the fries came out lukewarm at best. The hostess and wait staff were very polite and welcoming. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Probably sensing our displeasure with the level of food, the waiter could not resist peeking at the tip left to him before we exited our table. Suggestion, be patient, the tip is what it is. Theres no changing it. For us, a tip should be commensurate to the level of service, not on the food. You tip the food by returning to the establishment. We will not! My theory of this establishments ratings stems from their history as stated on their website, on the back of their menu and as you enter the establishment - "We have designed and built RBS to be a place where people will want to dine and socialize often." I think their patrons are so busy socializing with drink and discussion that they lose sight of what should be the core enticement to visit this establishment, the food.

Was in the area and saw this was a chance to eat at a local non franchise restaurant. Wish I had just went to a national chain. First off, we waited to be seated even though the restaurant was nearly empty on a Sunday night. Then we were seated at a dirty, sticky table. We ordered boneless buffalo fingers with ranch for dipping. Our waiter brought out 3 half breast sized chicken pieces coated in some sort of sickly sweet BBQ sauce and a cup of blue cheese. The pieces were way too big to dip, and the sauce didnt look, smell, or taste like buffalo sauce. I didnt like it at all. My wife ordered a shrimp salad sandwich, which was unremarkable. I ordered the "famous" fish and chips. Initially, the waiter brought out three massive hunks of fish, battered and deep dried until dark brown, almost blackened in places. He apologized and said they were out of fries. I was put aback that they would just bring out the fish like that. About 7 minutes later he did bring out a separate plate of fries. After assembling the two and digging it, the chicken was so overcooked it was impossible to eat with a fork. It was a mushy mess that fell into a thousand tiny pieces. Even worse, it was full of bones! After sprinkling vinegar over it, I had to filthy my hands digging through vinegar soaked fish digging out fish bones. Famous fish and chips, indeed. I will never eat here again.

I would guess that my family and I spend enough time and money at Red Brick to put the owners kid through college (if they have any). The wait staff is friendly and we have good friendships with all of them. Happy hour on Friday is great; get there early enough to get the roast beef sandwiches in the bar area. Sunday wing night is "hit or miss" depending on the cook. (Wings can be over done, make sure to ask for them not crispy). Beer of the day is good and cheap. The menu is good, with a fair amount of diversity. Taking a picky group to Red Brick will not be a problem. The beer is good, although some types are harder to make than others. Growlers and crowlers are available at the bar seven days a week. There is also a good selection of hard liquor and speciality drinks for the non-beer drinkers. Parking is much better now that construction is complete. Mug club night is a joke. After spending so much time and money at Red Brick, I felt that it would be a no brainer. After waiting patiently for three hours while listening to an imbecile emcee get progressively more inappropriate while the rough crowd got more drunk and inappropriate my family and I decided to leave. Mug Club membership isnt necessarily something to be proud of. All in all, its a good place to grab a beer and eat decent food. Definitely visit Red Brick for a quick drink before a movie.

Used to go here all the time and will not go back. I went with my mom and a friend. We sat at a table for 15 minutes without even getting a "Hello." We had to go to the hostess to request to be waited on. The waitress came over with a snippy attitude. Anyhow, when we eventually ordered, 2 of us had ordered wraps, one ordered a burger and I got a side of fries. The food alone took 45 minutes to an hour to come out of the kitchen. The hot food (burger and fries) were cold. When I requested to have new fries because they were cold, she started to question me. She went off to the kitchen and in two minutes she was back with a hot plate of fries. Why didnt I have hot fries in the first place? She never came to check on the table while we were eating. We finished our meal and she gave us the check. As my mom was figuring out the check, our friend went up to the manager to complain. When our friend came back she explained to us that all the managers response was "Well I wish someone would have told us sooner." At this point we just about had it and were ready to leave so we were still dividing the bill when the waitress shoved a new receipt in our face without saying anything, giving a disrespectful look, and walking away. We didnt want the bill cut in half, we wanted a nice, enjoyable meal and an apology. Another customer bites the dust.

Previously, I ate here all the time but I had such a horrible experience that I will never go back there. I ordered a cream of crab soup and ate most of it and with my final scoop came a huge dead fly lying hidden at the bottom of my cup of soup. Completely disgusted, I immediately started to retch and almost threw up. The Manager was summoned and he came by and I showed him the remnants of the soup with the dead fly in it and retching still, I let him know that I had been served crab soup with a fly. This fly had not flown in while I ate but had been part of the soup that I was served. He half apologized and told me I did not have to pay for the soup (which was the only thing that I ordered so far). Really ... That was what I was offered for such a major disgusting experience and possible health department violation. I asked him to please pour out any remnants of the soup in the kitchen so that other guests will not eat "fly soup". I have never been back there and I will never go back there.
