Im still working on my goal of trying every Waffle House in the area. Id already visited the Elkton and Havre de Grace locations, so North East fills the gap. From all appearances, this one is about as standard a Waffle House as they come. You have some booths and some chairs at the counter. If you sit at the counter, you can watch them make stuff on the grill but usually, I just pick a booth. Lets start with the positive: Portions seem to be even more generous here than at other locations. Normally, hash browns all the way is a food pile but here, it is a really big food pile, almost overflowing off the plate. Service was pretty quick and attentive too. Im not sure how that goes usually though. Seems like I go to these Waffle Houses only at times when they dont have customers. Parking was, of course, not a problem at the time of night when I was there. The restaurant is on the US-40 eastbound side. However, it is connected to the shopping plaza next door and so, you can use any of the 3 entrances on US-40 and MD-272.

I didnt care for this place. My waffle was undercooked and soggy. My eggs werent cooked the way I asked. I asked for it over medium and the white part was still runny. The bacon was cooked well. My bfs waffle was cooked better. He said the sausage was good. Keep in mind that waffle house waffles are not Belgium waffles. So they wont be thick. They are thin like the eggo waffles. The place is very small and one employee walked in and she looked terribly dirty. Once she put her uniform on she looked a little better. She was cleaning the lobby and it was rather gross. I dont like for dust to fly around while Im eating.

People are always really friendly and food is good too. The servers are what makes the experience so great though. I read that comment about Michelle, the server. Thats bull. Shes been a server there for years and is always great. She just dont put up with rude people. Michelle is a wonderful server and always friendly. Michelle deserves a reward for tolerating waffle houses crappy pay all these years. Always tip your waitress. That is how they feed their family. Michelle you rock and waffle house does too..

Our fod was decent enough but it all arrived at different times and not all together. The employees were cleaning both behind the counter and beside our booth while we were eating. Some of the employees were arguing amongst each other about who was going to do what. The food is on part with Waffle House quality but thus particular day the some employees were not very professional which is unusual.

This is Waffle House most farthest north location in Maryland. I stopped here about 5 a.m. and the parking lot was empty. The restaurant was very clean and the service was very fast. This Waffle House is the embodiment of basic southern breakfast food in a fast truckstop like settings.

For Pennsylvania, this is a better than average Waffle House, although perhaps not up to the standard of those you might find in Americas south. The restaurant is clean, the coffee is good, and the waffles are excellent. The staff are chatty and friendly and the parking is excellent.

If you have never been to waffle house you are missing out on a 24hr gastro-gem. Any time of day or night you can pop in to enjoy a hearty breakfast sandwich or burger, egg breakfast, chicken, pork chop salad, soup, pie and of course waffle. The food is constantly good and filling.

It is always crowded in the morning.But they make the food really fast.But if you have three.people sitting with you they give the drinks really slow the hireyer you go the slower they give the food and drinks. That is why I gave them three stars.

Everything that one could ever want in a restaurant is perfect. The quality of the service because the people are very friendly, the food, the dinning area and value of the food is wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

VERY DIRTY!! Example: paper towels in mens room being stored on the floor under the blow dryer. Table was dirty when we walked in, server stated " thats funny no one has sat here today." Makes me wonder. But the food was ok.

Quick, but efficient, service. Low cost, but tasty, grub. Friendly, smiling staff. I used to have a theory about Waffle Houses getting better the further south you went... Not any more! This location is now my favorite.
