The fries are awesome! We went here with our three kids. The burgers and the servings of fries were a good size. The place was clean, and the food arrived fairly quickly, though they forgot the bacon on my husbands BBQ Bacon Burger (they did fix it quickly). I ordered the Mushroom & Swiss burger, but was disappointed at the "sauce" on the burger; it tasted like canned gravy. The fries were delicious! They came on a large platter (not in a popcorn-like bucket as advertised), and were the perfect temperature and saltiness. They are best warm, but with the amount of time it took to eat the huge burger, the fries had cooled down, and werent nearly as good. The kids enjoyed their meals, and ate everything we ordered for them. My husband and I each had ordered water, and we were given a tiny cup with lukewarm water in it; no "water only" was available at the drink station. Overall, I might return for the fries alone, but the burgers were just like any other burger joint Ive been to.

The food is decent, for takeout. Heres where the problem is if you eat in: when it comes to drinks we do not drink soda/juices, just water for us. I have no problem paying for a meal and getting a cup. I typically go to the soda machine and fill it with ice water, but they do not have a water button on the soda fountain. When I asked if I could get water, they relied "Yes, you can buy a bottle of water. (About $2)." I replied I already paid for a drink, can you just put water in the cup. They said "no if you want water you have to buy a bottle" I the asked "do I get a discount on the water since Im not taking a cup?", They said "no" again....... now the part that really upset me, no options for a kids "meal" other than a soda as well. My son (3 years old) does not drink soda at all. Again, I dont mind paying for the "cup" with a meal, but to want to charge again for what almost every other restaurant provides for free is ridiculous and down right wrong.

After ordering my food I asked for a cup of water. This is a common item given free of charge from every restaurant and fast food place I can think of. The manager told me no, he doesnt do that. I said I dont care Ill pay for the cup I just want water. He said he will bring it out. It wasnt until after I got my food and ate it that I had to remind him about my cup of water. Seriously you cannot give out a cup to be used for water? So what if someone fills it up with 4 ounces of soda, is it really worth loosing a customer over? Well I guess for them it is. A paying customer lost because they will only begrudgingly give out a simple cup of water. And based on a previous 3 star review its obvious that they are sticklers for giving out water.

My favorite burger place. Lately I cant get a burger made properly pretty much anywhere I go. Except here. Every time Ive been here its perfect. EVERY TIME. Hot, just the right amount of crispness, fries piping hot made to order and the best Fanta soda Ive ever had (granted its not a Nehi but its damn good and I dont like Coke products too much). The staff is great and Ive never seen anyone send a sandwich back. Love this place !!! Just got charged $8 for a burger at Johnny Rockets that was a bit smaller than Boardwalk (which costs $3.69). I got my money back at Johnny Rockets, it was made totally wrong. Love my Boardwalk Burgers & Fries.

I wouldnt say this is the best burger Ive ever had, but certainly might be at the price and absolutely a step above most. The closest comparison I have is five guys and this place definitely has them beat in burgers and selection. Sorry if you arent a fan of pics of half eaten burgers. But good soft bun, hot and greasy patty served on a bed of crispy onions which I imagine keeps the bottom bun from getting soggy, nice cheese, good slathering of condiments. Would eat again

Food is decent quality, but a meal that costs $13 should be like $8.50 max. This is not your " premium burger" place but just a step up from mcDonalds. Not worth the price! Gotten throat ache/itchy throat multiple times from eatting here. Vineggar sauce, ketchup, oily fries, cheese, old bay seasonings, many more seasoning, mixed with ice cream and soda is a recipe for getting sick!

Great burgers, loved everything about them. Service was slow though and I even called in my order ahead of time. The fries werent very crispy but still good. The funnel cake fries are amazing! My biggest gripe was the price, but doesnt seem any more expensive than 5 guys.

Ive always loved Boardwalk fries, Ive been eating their chicken tenders since I was a kid. Coming here can be a little depressing though. Its dimly lit and the chairs and tables are often sticky. The employees seem a bit off. Food is as delicious and greasy as ever though.
