After having a couple of reasonable visits to the Crofton Checkers Drive-through restaurant, I had some very bad experiences. One burger I bought, the Mozarella Mushroom Burger, was so salty that it was inedible. It was accompanied by an order of french fries that were contaminated with pubic hair. I almost wonder if serving this lousy food was intentional. I called to complain to the franchise office, and the local owner called me back to "get this taken care of", as he said on his message, leaving his home number. I called that number several times and left messages, and I never heard from the owner again. Ever. Not a peep. After a couple of weeks of trying, I gave up. I never even obtained an apology. Nothing. To make matters worse, when I have picked up abandoned change in the parking lot of this fast food restaurant (this parking lot is leased from another company that is out-of-state), the restaurant staff accused me of "stealing" from them, and threatened me. This has happened a couple of times, creating an even worse impression. I checked with the police, who agreed that I had done nothing wrong. The next time this happens I will call the police and/or suggest that we settle this issue in court. I would be glad to see the owner try to justify a lawsuit in front of a judge for 15 cents found on land he does not own. My message to you, the owner is: "Try me. Lets meet in court and see how it goes. I already know the police are on my side." I guess the owner does not give a &^%$ about his customers, or the level of service or quality of products provided. I would not suggest anyone frequent this establishment, no matter how convenient the location might appear to be. There is no excuse for general abuse of your customers. I will spend my money someplace where they actually give a damn about the public. I also am shocked that this owner even is permitted to be a franchiser holder. I am half-considering posting YouTube videos featuring the obnoxious behavior of the Crofton Checkers staff, and starting a campaign to get this owners franchise taken away from them.

I cant speak to the food at this location. I have been to Checkers in the past and have really enjoyed it but I was going through the drive-through with a friend and it took a unreasonable time to get through. When we arrived there was 2 cars ahead of us and 3 in the other lane. After ordering food it took approximately 30 minutes (this is not an exaggeration). When arriving at the window after about 20 minutes there was no sign of anyone helping us. The other line had moved about 8 people through while we were waiting. When the guy finally opened the window he asked us for our money without any apology for the wait. We then had to wait longer for our food that was clearly still not ready. My friend enjoyed the food but with the wait and rudeness of the employee I will NEVER go to this location again.

I really wanted to give it a try for a long time. Then I finally find the time to go thru the drive thru and it was horrible. I felt as if my order did not even matter. When I got my order it was like they just dropped all the ingredients in a bag and squirted the whole bottle of Mayo and Mustard in it. The Fries where soaked in grease to the point that the napkins they put in the bag where dripping. They forgot the BBQ Sauce that I requested. The hamburger was such a mess that I could barely peal the wrapper off it. SO MUCH MAYO and MUSTARD. It was like a hamburger patty was taking a bath in sauces. I most likely will never EVER ever ever ever ever ever ever GO BACK. Ruined Checkers for me.

I recently moved to the area from Tampa FL and am quite familiar with Checkers as I used to live by their corporate office. In my personal experience this location supercedes any other location Ive been to, for context I have been to Checkers in 4 different states. Perhaps it was good timing but I will return! Food was cooked fresh and delivered timely. I had a great experience. Special shout out to James and his excellent crew.

I usually love Checkers and their plain wings...but lately the food has been unsatisfactory. Today I was shorted on my order and the wings I received were burnt and dried out! I called the manager, who was very polite and told me to come back for a complimentary meal. I hope when I go tomorrow to get it, it will be better than today. I will definitely check before I leave there.
