I must admit I am spoiled. I am used to first class service . That is why I was so disappointed with Imperial. We were seated diagonal from the front door. It was windy and 32 degrees, causing a cold breeze into the restaurant when guests came and left. The owner seated my husband and I providing us menus. I told him about our favorite chinese restaurant and expectations. The waitress provided our drinks. My husband received a large coca cola glass of water and I got the water glass with diet pepsi. I was told this is the policy of the restaurant. Our appetizers came separately: first the egg and spring rolls and then the BBQ spare ribs. 20 minutes later our food arrived: Egg Fu Young for husband and General Tsos Chicken for me. The Egg Fu Young was cold and the General Tsos Chicken sauce was borderline burnt. The final insult was having to pay the check at the door as we were leaving. I only do that at Dennys. So I am spoiled rotten, but most definitely not at this restaurant.

I ordered the Hunan beef combination meal, which includes the Hunan beef dish, fried rice, an egg roll, a soup of your choice( I chose wonton), and a fortune cookie. When you first see the price for this dish($11.00) your appetite may be a little turned off, but the quality and quantity of the food is exceptional. Definitely worth the price. I can usually eat a lot, but I wasnt able to finish this dish, no matter how much I wanted to.

I dont know if they serve different food for the lunch specials or something, but I got general tsos with white rice. WORST CHINESE IVE HAD IN MY LIFE. This is no joke folks. Even the rice sucked. I will never go back. ever. There "chicken" was 90% bread and the sauce tasted like it was frozen for years and microwaved. My college cafeteria makes better chinese than this.

Went here for diner. 1st where are the Chinese ppl? Dirty/poor bathroom. 3 other families there and took some time for waitress to show up, while greeter/ hostess sat in booth by door after she sat us :( Prices are higher then most other Chinese wr ate. Portions are less then most take outs. No kids portions, other then noodles and rice..?? Egg rolls are less than stellar

I will usually try a place 2 times before writing it off but will not be returning. The safest thing to get, Sweet and Sour Chicken, was unedible so greasy and the sause tasted like vinegar. Fried rice was dry and the dumplings very doughy. Moo goo gai pan had zero flavor. Overall very disappointing food. Service was fine nothing exceptional but not bad.

One of my favorite lunch spots in Hagerstown, and definitely the best Chinese food in the area. Nothing spectacular on their menu. The food is always tasty and the place is very clean. Typically quick service, great food and a great price. Their General Tsos Chicken has a unique flavor, but my favorite is the Chow Mein and Lo Mein

Came here with my mom to try out a new Chinese restauraunt; I am now in love. The atmosphere is nice, the set up inside is very elegant, the food is great, the prices are great, and the service was great. Both my mom and I have good allergies and the owner was super nice and helped us figure out what we could eat on the menu.

1st time I went it was a 5. Sweet and sour chicken is not as good today as years ago. Sauce was thick but now thinned down and chicken is more batter than chicken. Other items become more hit or miss. Some items are over cooked one day and the other it is perfect.

Not too many vegan options. Dont have regular veggie spring rolls and I wasnt able to substitute the rice with broccoli. But for less picky people it would be great! Beautiful restaurant tho! Unfortunately I had a server that didnt seem to know the menu too well.

They have the best hot mustard......takes your breath away....but you have to eat-in to get the good hot mustard. Its only served at the table.

Prices may be a bit higher, but the quality is much better than standard Chinese food. I was unsure about trying, but very glad I did.
